    Just wondering...

I was just wondering, how often do you visit Disneyland? I thought we went alot, but... Also, how long have you been going to Disneyland. For example, I have been going regularly since I was 14. I won't tell you how long ago that was. There have been so many changes... What about the park(s) draws us back?

I go about once a year, but I was local for 5-6 years and we went around once a month then.
I have literally been going to DL since the womb, it was my parent's "babymoon".

I used to go like every other year!!
Until the end of march when i started going about every week!!

I LOVE the fact that i can just walk around and don't have to rush!!!
Plus there is always something to do...even when you go by yourself(like i do during the week!!)

    We go every 12-18 months.

Our revels now are ended. These our actors, As I foretold you, were all spirits and Are melted into air, into thin air: And, like the baseless fabric of this vision, The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces, The solemn temples, the great globe itself, Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve And, like this insubstantial pageant faded, Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff As dreams are made on, and our little life Is rounded with a sleep. mycroft16 on Twitter

I have never been to DLR, but I go to WDW about every other year or so. Not to often. But for me, DLR is on the other side of the country! While WDW is about a 12 hour drive below us.

I go about once a week. I've been doing so as an annual passholder for about 11 years now.

I try to get in at least one ride when I go. I keep returning because Disneyland is cheaper than therapy.

I remember when I was younger and going 2-4 times a week there was a lady who would go to the park EVERYDAY. She was so happy. I always wondered about her. She would go to Tomorrowland Terrrace and DANCE DANCE DANCE. everyone called her Dancing mama. Anyone remember her? does she still go?

I get that Disney's theraputic. There's a reason you don't see the "real world" anywhere in the park...

    Re: Just wondering...

I go at least once a year. A friend who moved away and I have started a tradition to go every January. And sometimes I'll go other random times during the year. Like I went this past weekend and I'm thinking about going again for the day on May 13th or 14th.
For me it just kinda depends. Though I'm thinking about getting an annual pass after I work and earn money this summer.
For certain you must be lost to find the places that can't be found. Elseways, everyone would know where it was.

Once every year or two. I have been going to the Parks since 1969-1970. I was an AP holder for the first five years of the program.

    Re: Just wondering...

Until I moved to southern California in the last year, I typically made it to the park once every two years or so. Sometimes I lucked out and got to go more like once a year, and other times I had to wait three years or so, but it was always in that general ballpark. Now that I'm living so much closer, I've been making it to the park once every three months or so, though some of those have been unusual circumstances and I doubt the frequency will remain that high, as I don't have an AP. Nine more days till my next trip...

What would we do without APs?
As I'm not an annual passholder, I could answer that question very snidely, but I won't.

    Re: Just wondering...

When I was really young, my family and I used to go 5 or 6 times a year, just because we'd go to visit family in SoCal and my parents loved Disneyland. Then I started school and my sister was born, so I think between 1990-2000 I only went twice. I hear that the 90's weren't too good for Disneyland though, so maybe that's for the best.

Now that I'm on my own, I go a lot more. Funny enough, majority of the friends I made in college also love Disneyland, so we all went at least once a year while we were still in school. Now that I have an AP, I've been going once a month, which has not been as expensive as I had thought it would be. But that will likely stop once law school starts in the fall/my AP expires.
