18 years ago today...

...was my VERY first trip to Disneyland!!! and 50+ trips later, I STILL LOVE IT WITH ALL MY HEART!!! hehe I was one year old, almost two (my birthday is July 4), and I went with my mom, dad, grandpa, grandma, and uncle...ask me how I know this?? Well because we have a video of it! You know how it shows the date on the bottom corner??? haha but yeah I just thought that was something pretty fun to share...it's also my dad's birthday, too....how lucky of him!!! To take his first born child on their first trip to Disneyland!!! AND it was during the 35th Anniversary, which is extra cool!!! Today is very special...not only because it was my first trip, and that it is my dad's birthday...you see, he passed away 4 years ago this July...so it's a little sad...but I'm glad I have so many great memories of him :) ...but, long story short, I thought I would share that today 18 years ago I first walked through the gates of the Magic Kingdom ;)

The sad thing is that it's been almost that long since I last enjoyed a Disney park. 1992 was my last visit to DL, before DCA. I've never been to WDW.

congrats!! Today sure is a special day then! Everyone can remember their 1st DL trip (unless your like a new-born or something!:lol:) so sorry to hear about you dad, you will always have those special memories in your heart though.:gladsad:
