Disneyland Train driver on holiday
I had forgotten about this for some time,
but just remembered and thought it was quite amusing.
When I was visiting Disneyland Paris from December 10-14 last year,
something interesting happened on the Disneyland Railroad.
As we were getting off at Main Street station after a round trip, a man was escorted to the front of the train to speak with the drivers.
We overheard him tell the Paris drivers that he is a Disneyland Railroad driver from Disneyland California, and he wanted to visit to see the Paris trainline!
I thought it was nice that he went to speak to the drivers, he said he had been working there for over 20 years i think. But I was a bit disappointed that the Paris drivers seemed somewhat unimpressed by this, and didn't seem very interested in talking to the guy.
Just thought I'd write about this here, as some of you might find it interesting.

Nice picture. Secret of Monkey Island?

That's too bad the Paris drivers gave the Disneyland engineer (what we call them here) the cold shoulder. You so rarely hear of the French being rude. ;)
Usually those in the steam fraternity are quite cordial and friendly with each other.

Yep, sure is.
Nice to see people who actually know what it is!

I love that game... and that is kind of sad that they would cold shoulder him like that. Especially as he was a veteran (20 years is nothing to sneeze at) engineer.
