You don't see writting like that very often! How I miss the old, serious, and just slightly pompous Disney of old.

Wow, I didn't realize X. Atencio wrote the HM narration. I agree -- it's perfect! And, Paul Frees' delivery couldn't be any better. I wonder who actually spoke the old Subs narration? Pretty sure it's not Frees, although he was such a master at voices, perhaps it is him! Anyone know for sure?

I believe it is actor Richard Basehart. He later starred in Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea. I think I read that somewhere in an interview with his wife. But please let me know if I'm incorrect.

I dunno who it is, but it isn't Richard Basehart -- I pulled out the Sub soundtrack and The Satan Bug for comparison, and it's not him. But who? This one's a real stumper!

Amen to that. The slightly tongue-in-cheek way that reality rubbed against fantasy in the original Sub narration was the essence of Disneyland adventure, IMO. (The sub-Nemo-thingie... meh.)
