Wow, I guess they want to really profit on Halloween by only selling them the day of the event.

You can by them now. I just got 4 for Halloween night (my birthday). But they sure did raise the price!

That would make it $100 for our family... not sure if I can convince the wife to do that one. On a side note my 2.5 year old turns 3 on Halloween so it may be worth it!

We've never done this but are considering trying it for the first time. We would most likely be going on the Friday available with AP discount, or maybe another Friday. Is it very busy? I did a search and read reports - some said it was crowded but I'm not sure if they meant crowded as opposed to what they thought it would be like or crowded as opposed to how the park normally is. Is there a limit to how many people go? Are the lines pretty short? Thanks!!

They're never really that busy, cuz they cap the attendance pretty low. Plus it's at DCA.

I've never been to this party before, so pardon me for my ignorance.

So let me get this straight--

Annual passholders (APs) can purchase tickets for $25 whereas the general public (GP) will pay $29 for advance tickets to go to a private party at DCA? That means DCA will not allow other APs to walk into the park?

Is the $29 (for the GP) an additional cost for paying to the general admission (~$63)?

Because it doesn't seem fair that we AP's pony up hundreds of dollars for an AP and still have to pay a $25 for this party when all the GP has to pay is just $29? Unless they have to pay for general admission too?

Sorry if this is a redundant question-- but I couldn't find the anser on the actual website or on here or other forums too. It just seems vague to me.

It is a seperate hard ticket event, nonone will be allowed in during the event with out a ticket. The general public will need buy a normal park ticket if they want to go in earlier in the day, AP's can go in as normally allowed during the day. The park will close earlier and escort everyone out, then let the folks with party ticket.
