We have a restraunt near us here in Santa Cruz called Jeffrey's who has Monte Cristo Sandwiches on the menu. They actually got the recipe from a Disney site. Almost just like the ones in the Blue

    dsnylndmom-

    I'll eat with you anytime!

Three of your choices are mine as well (crab cakes, Bengals and the fries).

    Add: Monte Cristo/BB, Prime Rib/BB, Pasta/RR and Award Wieners/DCA.

    I'm getting hungry!

    Mint juleps...my disney favorite.

I love the Monte Cristo sandwich as well, and the corn dogs. I often go to DL just for the food. BUT the corn dog HOT LINK at DCA (Corn Dog Castle) is also absolutely to die for...
i caught you a delicious bass.

I second (or third, or whatever) the sentiments on the BB's prime rib and Monte Cristo.

DCA has those hot link corn dog weiners that are pretty good.

Main Street frosted cinnamon rolls are irresistable.

The next time you're in DCA of your own free will, try the sundae at the California Zephyr train right by the entrance. I prefer the one with the mint chocolate chip ice cream and the fudge, but the're all pretty good.

How is the food at the Winery in DCA, I know it is a bit pricey, but is it worth it? Was thinking of taking hubby there, so lots of details. He can be a bit picky when it comes to a pricey place to eat.

The Trattoria or the Vinyard Room?

Trattoria has some great items that I mentioned above, but I do not care for their pasta dishes.

Vinyard Room is Excellent and a wonderful place to have a great gourmet, multi-course meal.

Was asking about the Vinyard Room....Isn't the Trattoria short order type?....haven't tried either.

Best dessert(s): Fanstasmic Balcony Buffett...not only all you can eat but all you can drink a well. A little cheesecake and 10 glasses of Coca-cola and I am ready to finish out the last 3+ hours of my day.

HA! I didn't know that. I'll have to go there and try it

As for my favorites, I loved everything at Big Thunder BBQ back in the day. I loved their cornbread. I haven't been there since they revamped (or reopened?) the place.

I love the chicken at the Big Thunder BBQ! Does anyone know if it was moved or just scrapped?

The chicken and steak at the River Belle Terrace is yummy too! And who can resist the waffle cones at the Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor!

Trattoria is a sit-down restaurant with great salads, sandwiches and so so pasta dishes. You can also order wine and "fuzzy water" with your meal, so I really like it there.
