Oh man, they sell merchandise there? I'm in big trouble. When I visit DL, I always need to bring an empty suitcase to bring home all of the stuff I buy. I'm definitely a Disney shopaholic! Can anyone tell what they sell in there besides the leather jacket (which I'm highly considering) and if they sell all the time (wondering if they will be open during a private party)?

When I went, they had pins, shot glasses, shirts and I think hats.

I really wanted a key chain, but they didn't have any when I went there. They give you Club 33 mints after your meal. Make sure to ask for some to take home!!

Try a shot of the alcohol in the cabinet with the merchandise- if you take the last shot, they give you the crystal decanter which is worth about 2 grand. At 75 bucks a shot, its pricey, but you can say you did it

You are so lucky. I've been going to the Park for over 30 years and not once did I ever get to go to Club 33. My parents had friends who were friends of Walt's, they had a membership to go! Can you believe I never got to go even with the opportunity sitting right in front of me.

It should be very cool. I knew a couple of people who worked in Club 33 and they always said it was classy.

I happened to find this web site http://hometown.aol.com/opus1guy/ while surfing awhile ago and it gives some good pictures and history on Club 33. I had some friends that went a few years ago and had a great time, so enjoy!

sorry dramaqueen, they've since moved the Louis the XVIII cognac to another cabinet across the way.

So, you're looking at $10,000 to join, plus $2000 each year...PLUS the cost of the actual meal? Now, even if I had that much money to spare, I don't think I would spend it on memebership, or am I just nuts for thinking that?

Marge: [reading from the test box] "Ahoy, Maties! If the water turns blue, a baby for you! If purple ye see, no baby thar be!"
Homer: So, which is it? Blue or purple?
    Marge: Pink.

Who do I have to fondle to get into this mysterious club?

I have no problem fondling my way inside.

Seriously, how does one gain access? Is it all Skull and Bones hush hush or is it simply you know people who know people who know people.

Is it just because it's forbidden to me, the Disney-going grub, that I so badly want to see what's inside?

Is it the Garden of Disney's Eden?

Although, I suspect that my deisre stems mostly from the "they serve alcohol there" than anything else.

I'm getting excited. Only two more weeks to go. The best part is my job is paying for me to go and stay in the Grand Californian (except DL admission). What's the weather been like down there? I'm in Northern Cal and it's raining and cold!

Yeah, I think this is why a significant number of the members are corporations. On the other hand I know a lot of people that spend way more than that on all kinds of useless stuff...
