    Indy at the Parks...

In celebration of Indy opening at the theaters, I thought I'd blog a review of Indy attractions at the Disney parks worldwide.

Which attraction is your favorite and why?

Mine is the DL Troop Transport attraction. It continues to amaze me to this day with its immersive environment, amazing detail, unique ride vehicle, and great storyline. The total package!

Hope this gets built in Florida- with a new storyline, of course!

I've never heard of this. Are you talking about the Indy ride itself?

I think they are talking about Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Forbidden Eye.

Yea I think he's talking about Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Forbidden Eye. The rides intro calls it a Troop Transport (which is the vehicle itself).

It's my favorite Indy related attraction too.
    Everybody's got a laughin' place-
trouble is most folks won't take the time to go look for it.

Yes, I was talking about the Temple of the Forbidden Eye. I just wanted to differentiate itfrom the other attractions.

Having been to DLP, WDW, and DL, The Disneyland Jones attraction is FAR Superior to the other two. It's such an interactive experience. DLP is a roller coaster with some fun and a very TIGHT loop that always gives me a headache.

WDW's stunt spectacular isn't so spectacular anymore after the first three times.

I choose the DL version...it's the best!!!!

    Re: Indy at the Parks...

Let us not forget the Temple of the Crystal Skull at Tokyo DisneySea. Similar to our Indy attraction in many ways, but still its own entity.

Having only experienced our Indy attraction here at Disneyland, I can't very well vote, but I think I'm gonna guess that I'd probably rank them as follows:

    4. DLP's Temple of Peril--I like roller coasters, but this just doesn't seem like so much my thing.
    3. WDW's stunt show--Looks like fun to watch, though I'd rather be part of Indy's world than just watching it.
    2. TDS's Temple of the Crystal Skull--Some very interesting effects in this version (e.g. the vortex and smoke ring) that I'd love to see in person, and the different exterior looks pretty cool. But...
    1. DL's Temple of the Forbidden Eye would still win. Even without my sentimental attachments to the attraction, it's still amazing. I love the flow of the entire attraction, from the start of the queue to the final passage back into Adventureland. Veryfew attractions have that sort of consistent level of interest for me. Pretty freaking cool.

HECK YES! As a grad gift, my uncle wants to send me there so i can go to TDS and HKDL and maybe DLP (boy thats alot of acronyms).

But i think, if hes gonna spend that much money...id rather ask him to fund my friends and my trip to disneyland. WHY? Because Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Forbidden Eye is far superior to ALL INDY based attractions at disney parks!

I wonder if they will be adding anything from the latest movie (crystal skull and all) to that attraction ala Pirates/Captain Jack?

There was (is?) talk about the idea. No Shia AAs or anything, don't worry.

    holy ****!!

I love the art work on the blog, thanks for making it avaliable Mark! there's some truly amazing stuff there

I just saw the movie yesterday, It was great(and freakin' CRAZY!! but awesome nonetheless), but I didn't really see anything that could translate into something for the DL ride, but I did consider re-theming all of Adventureland to the 50's as opposed to the 30's and re-doing the attraction to be like the movie, But I came to my senses, don't worry
