The Corn Dog Castle should have reopened from refurb today.

Re: Paradise Pier's New "Hot Dog Hut"

WOW! indeed, very nice This may not sound like a compliment, but it sort of matches the color stylings of "old" PP wich makes it make more sense for the time being before the rest of PP is rethemed. It makes a better transition from the crap of old PP and new PP(the midway games the TSMM exterior)

BTW Maybe the reason Corn dog castle in under refurb is to change it's food selection ,eh?

return? well I certianly hope we get some quick churro attention for DCA. Out of all the problems with DCA I think that the biggest one is it's lack of churro stands

Some shots of the new Hot Dog Hut taken on Friday, May 23

It's a shame... the hot dogs are just quick outdoor vending foods like the Turkey legs and chimichangas. They arrive at the Hot Dog Hut pre-cooked and pre-wrapped in foil paper sleeves. They're $5.75 and are served with a bag of chips. It would be better to walk across the park to Corn Dog Castle or Award Weiners to get a hot dog -- they're fresher at the other locations! And the regular plain hot dogs at Award Wieners are actually about 25 cents cheaper than the Hot Dog Hut, too!

That was kinda obvious, this is just a stand not a building like Hot Dog Castle or Award Weiners, there is no room for a kitchen!

Re: Paradise Pier's New "Hot Dog Hut"

At least there's some truth in advertising. "Served with a SMALL bag of chips." What a joke, with what it really costs to make a plain old hot dog (which is all you get, nothing fancy or special, heck you have to sqeeze cheap packages of condiments on yourself) and then to rape the customers for $5.75 for a hot dog and $2.75 for a drink no wonder there are so many threads here asking about smuggling food in from the outside. Heck the overpriced McDonald's across the street seems like a bargain.
Stalking is when two people go for a long romantic walk together but only one of them knows about it.

Apparently it's the same hot dogs and same price as the Refreshment Corner on Main St. in DL.
