One more ODV Cart for Paradise Pier

I just heard that there will be one more ODV Cart on Paradise Pier between Don Tomas and Hot Dog Hut. It is going to be a Churro Stand and it has been pre-fabbed backstage and looks very awesome!!!! So it should be out in the next week or so.

This is cool. Churros are a staple of any Disney experience. And I'm just glad there's more options coming than turkey legs and (barf) chimichangas.

Seriously who decided that turkey legs and chimichangas were a nice combination? They are 2 separate food themes.

hmm, i guess it sells well. DCA actually sold Tamales, not Chimichangas but like, only 4 were made per day since they dont sell at all. :|

yep, Churros cart sitting back in the warehouse. The sub cart looks kinda retarded though.

I actually LOVE tamales. But chimi's....yuck. I'm surprised the tamales didn't sell.

Those are chimichangas? Holy crap, I thought they were chili-filled hot pockets.

...not that I'd want one anyways.

Re: One more ODV Cart for Paradise Pier

There are a few different decision here that are showing some rather poor management decisions.

So now Paradise Pier is going to have all these separate shacks, with different items and make guests stand in several different food concession lines if they want a variety, instead of having ONE larger facility that can be staffed by fewer people.

For food selection, I'm ok with corn dogs, which make sense with the whole board walk, but plain hot dogs? And yeah, the turkey legs/Chimi stand is similar to what DL has at the central hub. But I really wish DL would use either beef or chicken chimis, instead of the plain bean ones. And it even seems more strange that they wouldn't have utilized some of the facilities from either Strip Dips and Chips or Maliburritos in order to prepare the food for this area. Yeah, both those places are gone now, but it really sounds like they didn't think through this very well.

Yah seriously! I never pass up a tamale but I guess they only had them out during the holiday season? I don't recall but yah, I tried the chimi's two weeks ago and literally couldn't finish it.

Man. What happened to the different flavor churros? They used to have strawberry and I think green apple churros.

    Those were SOOOO good.
