Question Adult height requirements

I took my daughter to CA on Monday to burn off some of her almost 4 year old energy. Anyways I saw Verne Troyer (Mini Me). The next day I told a friend at work and he asked me if he was going on any of the rides. I assumed he was because he's an adult but then I realized the height requirments are for safety. Does anybody know how that works for little people? My DD just made it to 40" and rode TOT (she's a daredevil) and she's definately taller than him. Does that mean he never gets to ride that ride? Sorry if it's a dumb question but I really want to know.

Re: Adult height requirements

My friends and I have had this same conversation...

It would make sense that anyone under the height requierment would be unable to ride as it's a big safety reason. Flying out of the ride because you aren't tall enough really isn't a way you want to end the day.

Would be nice to hear the official standpoint though.

Re: Adult height requirements

Height requirements are for safety. If you dont meet the minimum, you cannot ride, regardless of age.

Its not about maturity or anything, its physical aspects and if you are too small than you can obviously fall out of an attraction, even if you are 40 years old.

I believe the bolded sentence is the official standpoint.

Thanks... i figured so, but sometimes there is some cool legalese tied to it that makes for good reading.

Re: Adult height requirements

This is essentially the same thing as a very overweight person or very tall person. Generally, most parks say that people with certain limiting physical dimensions may not be able to ride all attractions. I think that's the legalese HH was talking about. It's not just about height, but any physical limitation that would not allow a guest to properly use all safety equipment.
