Question: Who do you want to rent Disneyland with?

I'd have my gang from the Renaissance Faire. We know how to have fun and we could be rude about in jokes without bothering anyone. We tend to see things a bit differently than most.
Of course, we'd have to have an ale stand.
I'd like to see some country and Morris dancers at the Golden Horseshoe. Queen's Progress down Main Street would be fun and she could give her speach in front of the Castle. Put everyone from Court on the Carrosel. Belly dancers on Small World. The Poxy Boggars and Merry Wives of Winsor back in the Festival Areana (adults only). Let the Boothies get out and have fun. Now where would we put the Horse Tourney?

I don't think they are sluts. In fact, even though one of Hef's girlfriends is as dumb as a post, I like his girlfriends too. And, I think Hef is a nice old guy. (I've never met him, but, based upon interviews, etc. he seems like a really nice midwestern guy.)

I love watching the show... Holly and Bridget are quite smart though Kendra can be pretty not bright at times.

I think the house tourney should be down the Small World walking area. There's space for the horses and then viewing room at the plaza area.

i'll agree with the hef & the bunnies idea.. i love that show...

but i'd have to pick vince mcmahon and the entire wwe roster. i know quite a few of the wrestlers have kids.. and i'd love to pick their brains..

Disney and Faire... I'm not sure they go so well together... even Casa where they're trying to make it "Family friendly;" which in itself is funny.

If you could convince some rich person or people to rent out Disneyland for a private party, and they'd make you the guest of honor, who do you want to hang out in Disneyland with? Describe the experience, show your work for full credit.

I think it would be more than one person..but I would hit them up in this order:

Roy Disney

Dick Van Dyke

Steve Jobs

I think with Roy, there'd be some nostalgia and respect for the park. I'd almost envision a boyish sense of wonder and humor while enjoying the park in a more personal setting.


With Dick Van Dyke, I think the whole thing (other than meal times) would be light-hearted and generally fun to experience the park with him in that more personal setting.

Steve Jobs, he'd be on the more serious side, but I'd have to fight myself from asking too many business questions about the park, pixar or apple. I think he'd see somethings he'd want changed or fixed right away. But if he was able to look past it, I think it'd be a fun day - though not to the extent it would have been with Roy or Van Dyke.

I'd want to rent Disneyland out with friends who share an interest in Disney and/or with fellow MiceChatters since we are all Disney crazy in here!

It would be a fun experience to walk through with imagineers or even Oscar from the Carnation Cafe but I still would prefer to just keep it simple and enjoy the park with friends who share the same passion for Disney like I do.

Of course, we'd have northern folk as well, I work at both ends of the state. It wouldn't be the same without you. I like your idea for Tourney at Small World.

And Disney and Faire have always gone together. One of our heads of entertainment was a Mouskateer. And many of our people have moved to and through imagineering. My Guild goes to the Park every year after closing weekend and we always run into other Rennies that are drawn there after Grand Ringout.
