I've been holding this in for to long, WHY DOES GOLDEN DREAMS HAVE TO GO?????? it's a good movie, the corner stone of what DCA is about and its going to be replaced!

This is my solution. Disney should rip out its current Palace of the Fine arts replica and rebuild it in a bigger space. Inside the building should be a awesome multi-media show extravaganza that rivals American Adventure in FL. Just imagine a complete replica of the Palace of the Fine arts! trey cool.

okay i'm done venting. (give me a break I hardly vent on Micechat) so If anyone is interested in the idea of an American adventure-esque show then by all means imagineer.

Our family FINALLY took the time to see Golden Dreams this past April. And..well..I was very nonplussed. I won't miss it.

with the death of the show will come a loss in beer sales as people feel less of a need to drink before enduring the performance.

i like the structure, but the film is not attraction worthy. Its more like an A&E special.

I think if it was renamed to "Golden Showers", I'm sure attendance will definitely get a boost.

I am sorry, but I have been to see it a few times, and I won't miss it at all. I think it would be great if there was a movie about real California history. I teach 4th grade and we spend all year on CA history, so I feel like I have a good grip on it, and the first time I saw this, I couldn't believe how off it was. I went back a couple years later thinking it couldn't be as bad as I had remembered and besides I was more interested in the AC for a few minutes, and it was exactly as I had remembered. I know this sounds like I am venting and I guess I am. I really like the building, but the sooner the movie is gone the better in my opinion.

It's a great movie and will be gone soon. It'll be like going to Drivers Ed. Everybody's gotta do it, nobody wants to do it, but in the end, it will all just work out. Are you afraid of loosing 20 minutes of your DLR trip? Don't be. Go see Golden Dreams.

You see I just rediscovered this attraction and well, I appreciate it more than I enjoy it. I mean Golden dreams seems to be one of the few attractions that address CA history directly. although the movie is extremely broad.

If Whoopi is the still the star, I think you'd start seeing negative attendance. If that's even possible.



As for Golden Dreams, I think it's a well done movie that doesn't get enough credit, but it's not a theme park attraction. It's certainly something I'd like to see more of personally, but at home on cable. You guys remember when Disney productions invested in making educational programs? They need to get back into that.
