I gotta say, I'm surprised at how overwhelmingly positive the reviews of the attraction have been, but gladly so! Once the lines die down enough and I find myself in DCA again, I'll be greatly looking forward to (hopefully) enjoying it, though that'll realistically be in a few years.

I think the exterior is far superior here. The queue is definitely much nicer in Florida. But the ride is identical on both coasts.

Toy Story Midway Mania! will not offer Fastpass service at Disney's California Adventure. The attraction will/does offer Fastpass at the Disney's Hollywood Studios version at Walt Disney World.

I think there will be single riders. If they don't offer singles prepare for the line to be really long because of all the empty seats. All seats are singles and no lap sitting permitted.

I am so glad that people who have actually ridden the attraction are now posting and its positive. Kind of shows how stupid it is to post nothing but negative post about something that has not even opened.

My boss at the comic book store spent a week in WDW and rode their version and loved it. They rode it four times and would have ridden more if they had the time. He is looking forward to riding our version once it opens as they go every Sunday.

So I'm sorry guys that my review wasn't that long, I was very tired but just wanted to give a positive opinion on the ride. I wasn't able to take any pictures as it was just a cast test preview, but I'm just glad that people are getting excited about the ride because the work they put into it really shows. If this is the direction DCA is going, then we shouldn't fear the DCA of 2012.

On the entry side, it's a warmup, then it's just a transitional tunnel, basically.
On the exit side, it's a high score area.

So can someone describe the queue area in DCA version? I rode the DHS version few weeks ago and their queue there is indoor and themed to Andy's room with all the board games and such. What does the DCA version of queue looks like? thanks
