Anaheim GardenWalk and Cold Stone Creamery are now open!

Cold Stone Creamery, located on Harbor right across from the Disneyland Pedestrian Entrance opened on Wednesday. Yummy Stuff!!!

Also, Thursday was the first day that the main part of the Anaheim GardenWalk was opened to the public... Still a couple of weeks away from most stores opening up, but ONE store is open for business... The Sketchers Store

Looks like there will be plenty of stuff to see there for those who want to go shopping. The restaurant line up is fine as well though I prefer to try places that we don't have near home. Am I th e only one who finds GardenWalk to be one of the least attractive new shopping/dining "walks" I have seen. The architecture is just bland and in some cases ugly. I don't feel attracted to the place at all. Perhaps at night with some creative lighting it will look more interesting.

Looks to me to be extremely hot and sunny, like the Block. If indeed it's going to ever look like the concept artwork, I think it'll take at least 2 years. I hope it works...

I know that people swear by Cold Stone Creamery but I have always thought that they were over priced and the Ice Cream was only a B grade.

Nice shots of the Anaheim GardenWalk, though somehow, I was expecting...more. After all the hype, it seems a bit generic.

Not too garden-y for a "garden walk". Looks like something you would find in the Palm Springs area. Hopefully they're still sprucing it up.

Cold Stone, is that the iced cream that is slammed down on the cold stone and the workers sing when you put a dollar in the tip jar? It is either Cold Stone or Claim Jumper, couldn't remember?

Anyway it will be nice to see the park in August. I guess if I had one Disney wish, it would be that Imagineering decides to do the same number they did on Tomorrowland, to ToonTown! Imagine it, all those goofy bright colored cartoon characters and their humble abodes glinting in futuristic copper! Heaven!

I concur, I went based on rave reviews and wasn't impressed by the place whatsoever ... two times were enough for me to take my ice cream business back to Ben & Jerry's.

The attraction of Coldstone is that you can choose exactly what goes into your ice cream, not just whats on top. The actual ice cream is just part of the experience. So in that respect, I love it!
