    "Random Acts of Indy" Video

    Hey, all! I convinced a couple of friends to drive down to Anaheim with me this weekend just so that I could catch the new Summer of Hidden Mysteries offerings, Indy super-fan that I am. Anyway, I got some pretty good video of the whole "random acts of Indy" thing, and I thought I'd share it with you all!

    Personally, I thought it was a blast; it added a fun and engaging new layer of thematic immersion to what was already one of my favorite areas in the park. What do you folks think?

    I love how subtle it is at first, then it breaks into a show, and then flows back into subtlety! Its not like they just appear, they actually walk by people to their "area", still in character!

    The only issue with these "random acts" is the already super crowded Adventureland walkways become even more congested during these acts.

    I LOVE the idea...but I wish that there was something that could be done about the added congestion that this creates.

    I was there yesterday and today, and the walkways are impossible to navigate during those time.

    I do like the action though. I'm a huge Indy fan...check the name...

    I did! And I'll try to get it uploaded this weekend. It's a cute show; very, very kid-oriented, but fun enough for grownup Indy fans to sit through at least once, I suppose.

    As to the crowd congestion issues, it wasn't too atrocious when we were there, and that was Memorial Day weekend! Then again, in all fairness, we only encountered the mini-show twice, and both of those times were deliberate. I'm sure it must get a bit...cozy in there while the fights are going on; but I think each individual fight sequence in the cycle is spaced far enough apart so that a good portion of the crowd assumes it's over and starts moving forward again.

    Regardless, I still think it's uber-fun.

    Great video. I like how you got them interacting through the crowd between each show. I actually didn't see Indy walk through the crowd to the second part, and wondered how he got there. I think it's a great addition, and I don't mind the momentarily crowdedness of the area. I much rather have it then not. I think it's these little additions that make the park so great. If there weren't crowds, then the park would be in trouble now wouldn't it!

    Another thing I like is how short each part is, it starts, a crows gathers, it ends, the crowd leaves. Its not like they rope of the area and do a full-on Fantasmic scale show only at a certain time.
