Everybody in our family had plans this weekend, except me and the boy. Our daughter was spending the weekend at Grandma's, Belle had a wedding shower "Girl-Weekend" planned.
So what are two guys to do? Go to Disneyland for the weekend of course.
And we had a blast.
After dropping Mom off, we got to the park about noon on Saturday and headed for Indy. After getting FP's, we headed for Jungle Cruise.
Our skipper was newish I think, so it wasn't the best. But he did go REALLY slow, which allowed me to get some great pictures.
After JC, we headed for Hungry Bear for lunch. Feeding the ducks.
The one thing about going to the park with a 10 year-old, and making the mistake of telling him he can pick all the rides, is they have no concept of staying in one land, or crossing 2 or 3 for the next ride.
After a lunch in Critter Country, it was decided we needed to ride Mr. Toad ... in Fantasyland ... 3 lands away.
After Toad, and a quick ride on Snow White, we only needed to go to one land over for Buzz.
It was FINALLY time for our Indy fastpasses, so we headed to Adventureland. And made sure to get more passes for later.
After avoiding the eyes of Mara, we hoofed it to DCA, and ran into these guys on the way.
We went on Tower, and I got the rabbit ears
And then Screamin'. Then back to Disneyland, we headed into Innoventions. They have some cool new exhibits in there, which was nice.
Then it was back on Indy for a 2nd time, and Josh got to drive.
We then went and met up with Dustysage and Fishbulb for a nice dinner at Uva. It was nice to just sit down for a bit and catch up.
We headed back into the park at sunset, which provided some nice colors on the mountain.
Then back to ToonTown to check out the "Build a hat" thing. It was cool, but not for me personally.

We went into Mickey's House, first time I've done this in quite a long time
Bet me Indy can't take his eyes off you ...
Fishbulb exiting Mickey's House
We then rode Toad (again) and Pinnochio. And stopped by Snow White's Grotto to try and get some pics.
One turned out:
The fountain all lit up
We then said our goodbye's as the boy and I had some Big Thunder FP's to use. Upon getting to the ride, it was an absolute walk-on. I mean, we didn't stop until we got to the gate. It was awesome. So we called Fishy and Dusty and they came back and rode with us a 2nd time with no wait.
Then we said our goodbye's and headed to our hotel about 9:30.
It was a fun day, and night.
Check back later to see more pictures from Sunday.
