In hopes of capturing some magic, I'd like to see any pictures people might have of Cast Members helping creating the Disney atmosphere (preferably not people within the Entertainment department-that's a debate for another time).

But don't all CMs contribute to the Disney atmosphere, at least indirectly?
This CM gave my twins little binoculars while waiting in line for the Indy stunt show:
She said it was to help find Indy in Adventureland!
How much do we have to pay to get MiceChat Old?![]()

Yes all CMs help create the magic indirectly...yet there are those who take a step further... I a friend of mine really gets into his show at ToT, where as a really good "friend" of mine is a CM at Soarin who deveolped his own character to help animate the world of Condor Flats and Soarin...
You can't talk S*** unless your gonna do something about it...
For some reason, when I think of Disneyland, I don't think of the Entertainment side of things (they seems a little too "fake" of people for me). I think of those Cast Members who work the rides, the shops, the ones who go out of their way to add a little bit of extra magic to our day. The ones who stand at Attractions and make up funny reasons why they're closed (Apes have taken our boats captive and we're fighting profusely with bananas to get them to split - Jungle Cruise).
Those same cast members who stop and help with a smile when we're feeling down. The ones working Hunted Mansion with quick wit about the "Master" waiting to lift your spirits so high they're out of your body.
That one Cast Member who can see we made a mistake on our food order, and is more then willing to help fix it. That wonderful person at the Gate to enter who gives you that smile, and makes you feel like you're the only one entering Disneyland that day .
Thank you!
These are the Cast Members that make it for me. Sure, Disneyland has wonderful Shows (Billy Hill and the Hill Billies), those wonderful fuzzies, and a whole lot of theme to lose ourselves in. Though I think the true atmosphere is help created in part by other guests, as well as those unheralded Cast Members. Those who seemingly work very hard simply with a smile on their face and say hello as if there weren't a care in the world... that's my Disneyland.

Here's a CM working diligently to keep the trains running! Either that, or it's an engineer being breech-born.
