Re: Midway Mania AP Preview! Lots of Pics

We showed up at 1:50pm for the 10-3 shift. I had to work until 1:30. We walked right up to the check-in. I was in line at TSMM by 2:04 ,10-15 mins in line. Gave my wife the baby swap ticket, she went on, then when she got off I was back in line at 2:38, got off at about 3pm but it was to late for my wife to use the baby swap ticket but they said come back at 4. After a couple mojitos she went on it at 4:10. We both loved it. My 2 year old got to go on it 4 times and loved it , she kept saying again...again. BTW wife did score higher after a drink at the cove bar

Yeah. When you exit the ride, you go up stairs, across the "balcony" inside the mercantile, and down another set of stairs.

It could be worse, the final set of stairs could empty you INTO the mercantile. Instead, you exit to the side.

    All the details! LOL

There was no one at the booth when we signed in. Took less than a minute. The walk to the pier. Show the ticket. And then, varying wait times as detailed in an above post. We showed up at the sign in booth at 11:45, and were off the first ride around 12:45. But we screwed around for at least 15 minutes watching Mr. PH and taking pictures. If you were speedy, from the moment you started to check in, from getting off the ride, it could be as little as a half hour. But obviously, I can't predict the crowds.

Great TR and thanks for all the estimates on wait times. My AP preview time is on Thursday and we will be on a tight schedule so this sounds very promising.

    Hidden Mickey Alert:

If you look at the blue circles around the heads of Rex, Bullseye, and Jesse, they form a Mickey head. Not sure if anyone's noticed this yet, thought I'd like to point that out .

Cool! Thanks for pointing it out.
The Mickey audience is not made up of people; it has no racial, national, political, religious or social differences or affiliations; the Mickey audience is made up of parts of people, of that deathless, precious, ageless, absolutely primitive remnant of something in every world-wracked human being which makes us play with children’s toys and laugh without self-consciousness at silly things, and sing in bathtubs, and dream and believe that our babies are uniquely beautiful. You know…the Mickey in us.

Too bad I missed you guys. My preview was from 4-9. Oh well.

Rode it three times in a row. I would have ridden more but JenOwned was in the park with her friend so I took off to spend some time with them.

It is a fun ride. I went from 90,000 to 118,000 to 152,000. I would have ridden it more to try and pass the top monthly score of about 370,000. But I guess I'll just have to wait now!

Went this afternoon....cool ride and thanks for the cool pics. My score was lousy, but my accuracy was great....until next time! Improvement will come with time I'm sure!
