Re: TSMM how long would you wait?

For the first time I'd wait about an hour. For the rest of the summer about 10-30 min.

45 min tops and if I'm with my son, then 30 min.

I did like the ride and could see myself making it one of those "must do" rides everytime I'm at DCA.

The normal queue is shaded for the most part. The area where the loading station isn't too bad, it's covered and pretty airy, I believe it has fans too. The queue area that is before you get your glasses is pretty bad though. It is covered, but I'd rather have canvas or something so that there would be some air going through the area. There are fans but the small openings don't let much air in or out making it very stuff inside. Then the rest of the queue is outside, no fans, no coverings, and I think I only remember one small tree.

well im going to disneyland in august, so itll still be "new", but that doesnt mean ill wait longer than 35min. from what i hear, its more like buzz lightyear astro blasters, which is about a 20-30min wait, so the same wait time should go for TSMM

Re: TSMM how long would you wait?

For the first time, I would wait several hours -- the same as I did for Indy when it opened. It's worth it to see an attraction when it is fresh, new, and almost completely working.

(I feel bad for those of you who waited a year or more before riding Indy, since it didn't even feel like the same sort of ride by then. I could comment on its current state vs. opening... but that's a different thread, and I would be told "it doesn't need a rehab.")

If it's good, I'll wait in just as long of a line over and over again. Just like I did with Indy.

If it's not that great, then I'll wait only if the queue is entirely in the shade, if I really feel like it. Just like with Nemo.

i'm with master gracey here, who summed it up perfectly... now, with all that said, how do you think people will feel about the ride if they have to wait upwards of two or three hours?

I think they probably won't wait that long the next time.
Just have to wait until all the more rabid of the APers get their fill.
I see it more like the Monsters situation than the Nemoone. Nemo's ride capacity per day was way lower, so it took longer for everyone to get their first ride in. (I'm still holding out.)

20 mins. Video game format also not my cup of tea.
STILL haven't seen the Subs because I would top that one out at about 45 minutes.

20-30 minutes, but then I've been on it, so I can wait till the lines calm down.

Sorry.....grew up with KI they way most of you grew up with DL....

Anyway...why all the hostility over the line? Doesn't everybody know it's probably the most popular/attended attraction in the park? The line is a great place to relax, put together your plan of attack, talk and bond with your party, maybe even get lucky and talk and bond with the party ahead of or behind you. And if you get REALLY lucky, you can get a group of people jumping ahead of you that you can mock, taunt, and poke fun of.

Make the best of it....that's what we try to do.

Re: TSMM how long would you wait?

As a non-local who visits infrequently, I'd pretty much wait as long as I had to in order to experience a brand-new attraction. I'd probably draw the line at an hour and a half though.

Kind of a non-issue for me in that I'd make a point of getting there early enough (on at least one occasion) to avoid any significant wait.

Re: TSMM how long would you wait?

I'd only wait about an hour tops. Heck I waited for X2 for 3 hours, 1 hour wait for a ride that's 3 times longer seems worth it.
    Everybody's got a laughin' place-
trouble is most folks won't take the time to go look for it.
