I was thinking this would be a crazy release and I knew there was early entry and just first come first served at Disneyana. Last night I decided to book a hotel room to get early entry and Im glad I did. I got my fountain today and I was able to get my stuff and get out quickly before I had to be at work at 11am.

Hopefully for everyone that missed the fountain, they will be able to get one once Disney receives their next shipment.

I want that fountain. Why does Disney limit their release? I would purchase that right now online if i could. If they sold cool stuff like this in the Disney stores i would actually shop there. instead of all the HSM crap.

I got one of Mickey standing in front of the Tiki Room. It looks very cute. I'd have loved the birds!

Wow that sounds like a mess. When I got to the park the line stretched all the way up Main Street along the hub. I decided to just get some pins and call it a day.

Yep, definitely could have been made a little more equitable by holding it on a non early entry day....tho' I am nonetheless grateful to have taken full advantage of that little bennie.

This baffles me. Why would they be so angry right away like that? Did something happen right at the beginning?

I don't think it were the people at the very front of the line. Most likely, it was the first group of people who were told there wasn't enough fountains.

I was in the first group to enter the store in the morning. Before I left the store, I heard them announce that the fountains have sold out. I'm sure that is why people up towards the front were angry. Being told there would be 600 of them, your within the first 40 and you don't get one.

Im sure Disney knew they were going to end up short at least a couple days in advance. They could have made an update to their page announcing the event to try and get the word out that they were in very limited supply. I guess that would have made people even more crazy to try and get there first.

i didn't make it to the event, i was there, but my god the line was really long.
