Grad Night Prank

I went to grad night twice. Once for me in 97 and once for my boyfriend at the time in 98. The Aquabats played at the 98 gradnight! Love them.

Last night someone apparently thought it would be a funny prank to jump out of their car at Pinocchio and start damaging the scenery. He was escorted away by many security guards and there's a chance his school may have been banned for future years.

Oof. I'm really sorry to hear that - I hope he didn't cause any serious damage.

I was homeschooled through high school, so I've never experienced anything remotely like Grad Nite.

My Grad Night was back in 2001 and we had it at Disneyland.

One of my CM friend, who coincidently went to the same high school as I did, told me that some people from my old school threw a pole cart into the ROA and now my school is banned from Grad Nite!

My school was lame and had Grad Nite in our School Gym. Talk about depriving the students of a fun time. My school also had a bajillion Valedictorians, where even the local newspapers made fun of us.

Anyhoo, pranks at Disneyland are stupid and ruin the fun for everyone else.

Speaking of Mr. Toad, we were stopped in there for a couple of minutes. It was the first time that has ever happened. I think someone was doing something because the ride wasn't backed up at all.

Yes from what I understand Laura Ingles did attend grad night 1886.

I think I remember hearing on the Disneyland secrets DVD that they started the Grad Nites in the last 60's or early 70's. I could be wrong, but I think thats when they started... somewhere in there.

I couldn't afford to go the Grad Nite my Senior year. I have since made up for it.

One can only imagine the pranks that have occurred at Disneyland Grad nights over the years. Last week a teaching colleague of mine told me he was kicked out of Disneyland for his long hair in the 60's. He was from Berkeley, he went to high school and the university there during the sixties, so you know he must have been scary. Our high school, Fontana High, almost always has a grad-night at Disneyland. The kids come back in the morning off the bus looking like death warmed-over. One thing I remember, packs of excited teenagers, running from ride-to-ride, trying to get the most out of the moment.
