Fantasmic recent update?

I just watched a video of fantasmic on youtube, posted yesterday, and it's doing the new finale as usual.. however.. it seems they added more pyro.. as the fan effect behind mickey now happens when it was just the lights shooting up (which replaced pyro) I was surprised to see this, it also seems like they've filled out the pyro a bit. I dont know if this was just a timing error, or an update.

Anyone watched it lately? Is this new or an error?

I hadn't seen Fantasmic since January and watched it this last weekend and it seemed like they had added a lot more pyro and effects.

They've been experimenting with that since this weekend. I'm not certain if they're still tweaking or if that's a permanent fix, but they've been doing it since Saturday.
It's not new pyro. They just retired the four fan shots to go off earlier. There are still just four shots of it.

Well all that pyro was added since the last time I saw the show, which was last year. I am one of those that catches the new things when I can each time I watch and it wasn't that pyro heavy the last few times I caught the show. So my guess is that its new.

Yea ,those fan bursts used to be at the very very end, but it looks like they may have moved them to go in sync with the new lighting on the towers instead.

I'll be there in a few days.. I'll check it out.

Yeah thats what I thought, they just moved them forward. It still looks a little more filled out though, dont know why.. could of sworn it went two red blasts then the fan of mickey dissapearing off mill.. but they intercept in this video.

I am really impressed with the recent upgrades, but not fond of the finale. I like it though, but miss the old pyro. I am just so used to it.

It is true that it does take getting used to.. It's the same with anything.. But I prefer the new finale.. it's so much more.. grand.. and well timed.. and just amazing. The lighting is incredible, and that final pyro blast... amazing

I just watched the 10:30 show and the old pyro that mickey used to orchastrate arcoss the river, and then back, has returned. Also when he motions up with his arms the pyro in the lake goes off along with the lights. It really feels like the old finnale, but with new lighting. Glad to see it back.

There was this young guy standing next to me before the show and he was telling his friends that he heard the show was stupid, but he had never seen it. I looked over at him just as the river was set on fire, and his mouth was hanging wide open in amazement!
