Exclamation I need something cleared up (Dream Fastpass policy)

It has come to my attention that guest relations at the Disneyland Resort say the dream fastpasses are valid ONLY on the day issued. But I have asked around at all the fastpass attractions. All the attraction cast members have said to me "They are valid all year round. Both the 2007 AND 2008 versions..."

Yet Disneyland Guest Relations did not get this message somehow?

So who is really right here? Attraction cast members? Or Disneyland Guest Relations?

It is my belief that what Guest Relations SAYS is the policy and what is actually ALLOWED are two different things.

It seems as though he goes everyday to practice on BLAB. Likely in the morning when all of the dream stuff is given away.

It's probably like the regular Fast Passes. They state a specific time range, yet you can acutally come back ANYTIME after the start time.

It's my guess the GR prefers people to use their fast passes for dates/times posted. Since they only issue a certain number of FP per day per ride, it's obvious they are trying to maintain some kind of control over the FP crowds.

It is known already that they will accept a Dream Pass from a prior date, so no worries there.

What BCC wants to know is why Guest Relations told him No and yet all Attraction CM do accept them. In other words they should both be saying and doing the same thing.

Re: I need something cleared up (Dream Fastpass policy)

I know when I worked there it was usually up to the CM at the attraction. You can come across the CM who is a stickler for the rules and will follow Guest Relation rules to the smallest detail. If you come across one of those you will probably be denied entrance since the first thing they usually look at is the date printed on them.

You might luck out and get the other type though that just looks at the header. You would have been surprised at the amount of times I was working Space and people would try to get in with another attractions FP. Indy seemed to be the favorite there during my time.

I think it would be a hit or miss thing. The majority fell into the second category though if that helps. I know for consistency all dates should be looked at first but on a busy day when you are trying to keep the line moving those things are overlooked.
