    Another Thread about Character Breakfasts

    I know-- I'm Sorry.

Okay, so my daughter (12) and I want to do a character breakfast. We can't decide between Lilo and Stitch and Goofy's Kitchen. Which one has better food? Which one has better/more characters? I need to make my reservations tomorrow, so help me decide!!

    Thank you!!

Re: Another Thread about Character Breakfasts

I was at Lilo & Stich about two weeks ago. Characters that I remember are:

    Lilo
    Stich
    Daisy Duck
    Minnie Mouse
    Pluto

At Goofy's kitchen for SUPPER we had
    Goofy
    Minnie Mouse
    Alice
    Jasmine
    Jane(From Tarzan)
    Bert(from Marry Poppins)
    Chip
    Dale
    Rafikki

Wow..I didn't realize how many more characters were at Goofy's(Supper)than were at Lilo & Stich's(Breakfast)

    We enjoyed both.

I've only been to the Lilo& Stitch breakfast!!!
It had a great variety of different foods(which surprised me)!!!
And they had Pluto, Daisy, Minnie, Lilo and Stitch!!!
The best part is when they had the little kids learn to hula!!!
Plus the background for the character pics was cute!!

I don't know about the food at Goofy's Kitchen but we went to the Lilo & Stitch breakfast on Monday.

They offered made-to-order omelets, Mickey waffles, Minnie pancakes, two different egg casseroles, sausages, bacon, oatmeal, fresh fruit, delicious coconut pineapple scones, tomatoes and smoked salmon.

Also, add Pluto to the list of characters mentioned above.

The Food is about the same, though Lilo & Stitchs' breakfast offers rice and salmon... very Hawaiian (now if they would just get spam musubi on there I'd be happy). There seem to be more characters at Goofy's Kitchen but L&S seems more laid back, though the place is small.

Either way, you'll have a filling breakfast and a great time!

Both are cool, but I think it is totally awesome that your 12 year old wants to do a character meal. I hate seeing kids grow up so fast so count your lucky stars and have a great time!

I have only been to Goofy's Kitchen and I liked all the characters they had and the food was good, but I have heard Lilo and Stitch has a great variety of food and they also have some fun characters there.

The best food is at Lilo & Stitch, in quality, selection and temperature. It may be because the dining room is smaller. Consequently, they don't have to put out as much food that then sits there getting cold as you cross the great expanse of dining room. However, the room never felt crowded. The characters seems friendliest there.

Goofy's Kitchen has good food but it's lukewarm at best -- literally. They have creme brulee French toast, which would have been awesome if it was hot. Character interaction is hit-and-miss, probably due to the very large room.

Well we went to Lilo on sunday, and it was good not as much to choose from as at Goofy's but still fun. I would do Goofy's instead for the food and the charactars

I haven't heard anyone mention this one but we loved it. Minnie and Friends inside the park at the Plaza. We saw alot of characters and the food was good. The kids loved being in the park when it opened. We went at 7 in the morning. Even my 16 yr old son loved it. He's a kid at heart when it comes to Mickey Mouse.

We decided on Lilo and Stitch. We haven't ever seen them before and were making a character signature shirt.

This is an idea we stole from my brother in law. Rather than a autograph book, they had a t-shirt they bought cheap at Wal-Mart and then used a CD case, & Binder clip to make it easier to write on. Then when they met characters, they signed the shirt instead. The product is SO CUTE. Each character had their own spin on their name, so its a really cute momento of the trip. When we get home, I'll take pictures and post them of our shirt.

    Hence the character breakfast.

    Aww!

That is the cutest idea! Really creative.

I've been to both L&S and Goofy's kitchen and from my experience, I would say go for L&S for breakfast. Not to say that Goofy's kitchen is bad or anything, but I especially liked the atmosphere at L&S. Most importantly, because it's summertime, an aloha style breakfast is the way to go. (They even have pineapple smoothies--mmMm! :] )

I hope you have fun at your character breakfast and enjoy collecting your signatures!

Hmmm i didnt know they had more then one character breakfast. I have been invited to go to Goofy's Kitchen this Sunday for breakfast. Is it a buffet? Self serve? The only character dinning experience I have had was in Oralndo for my neice this time it is for my nephew.

I think food wise, I like the Chip 'n Dale's Critter Breakfast at Storytellers (a buffet as well as a regular menu to order from) or the Lilo and Stitch Luau at the PCH Grill. I do like Goofy's for dinner, but not for breakfast (too crowded).
