amazing...the house of the future does not have any futuristic stuff in it. I have seen all that stuff before.

I also do not really understand the sink thing. How in any way is it any more helpful with a retractable faucet?

The only thing I have not heard of is that mirror. That would be really cool.

Wow! That sink was so cool! At first when the faucet was coming out, I thought it was water shooting out in like slow motion or something. That is so cool!

One thing that probably needs to be mentioned is that Disney does not call it the House of the Future - simply the Dream Home. They freely admit some of the stuff is available now and some is more prototype-ish.

So, a Dream Suite stay is given out on a regular basis. Will the Dream Home be given away as well? It has the unique quality of spinning around, but can a 2 bdrm/0 bath home hold it's value in todays market?

Um... its that 0 bath thing that doesn't do it for me. I can forgive a garage, an inground pool, a view.... but I just can't forgive the 0 bath. I'd hate to have to run over to the neighbors....er... to HISTA every time I needed a shower.

this place actually looks like something worth-while to see. Since Innoventions opened, I have only been in there twice, i believe only to get out of the heat. i don't find the place very amusing and i think it's a large waste of space. but with the new Dream Home i might actually visit.

Just to point out, as others have said, this is not the new House of the Future, this is the Dream Home, meaning yah some of this stuff is available to the public and not neccesarily the "future".

Also, couldn't they have in some way added in some things that ran on solar power. of course you could put in working panels in the Dream Home but maybe on the roof of innoventions. They could have one on display in the indoor "outdoor" patio area, and have the real working ones on the roof.

I think the only thing I'm looking forward to with this one is the Microsoft Surface that I've been waiting to play with for over a year now. Other than that, I'm not sure what it is doing in Tomorrowland as all of this is available this year pretty much.
