    DCA Name Change

There may have already been a thread like this, but I will create a new one. Rumors have it that DCA will be recieving a name change in the near future. Do you think it is a good move? Do you think DCA should keep it's name.

Post your ideas and name suggestions below if you agree DCA should recieve a name change!

**Preparing for sarcastic comments bashing DCA**

If I were running the place, I would call it "Walt Disney's California". Guests still get the gist that it's the same park ("That California park."), while it expresses the new "story" WDI seems to be trying to express in the park, that guests experience California the way it was when Walt Disney arrived.

How about something strong and to the point like "The Other Park(R)" or even "Not Disneyland(R)".

I like it you got my vote for "Walt Disney's California" maybe add adventure to the end of it.

I like the idea of "Walt Disney's California." BUT...I don't get how it will make sense beyond the entry way. Most of the things park wasn't around when Walt came to California (the 20's, if I'm not mistaken)...Monster's Inc, The Muppets The Twilight Zone, Bug's Life, Cars, Toy Story etc. A lot of those weren't even around when he "left" California.

So...I guess I'm struggling to understand the new "theme" of the park. But I certainly like that name, "Walt Disney's California."

How about actually working to make the park reflect the current name rather than giving it up and handing it to Pixar?

Theres nothing wrong with the Pixar stuff they have now, even though the parade is a bit much and Carsland shouldn't be called Carsland. Maybe Route 66.

I like Disney's California Adventure as a name to be honest, but I wouldn't mind Walt Disney's California (or even Walt Disney's California Adventure if that makes sense) as a touch of class once the new entrance is built.

Or how about Cali-Disneyland or Disneyfornia?

I think they should keep the name the same, it's been that way so why not just leave it.

ORWEN: How about calling it Disney's Crazy Adventures? That way it's not tied to any particular state and, at the same time, explains all the wildly different themes plopped down in one park!!

I think we've all become too attached to the "DCA" acronym...what would we do if there was a name change?!
