Which do you enjoy more?
I love breakin' plates!
wow...I actually have a hard time answering this...they both have their pluses and minuses...
I like BLAB's trigger finger guns and i REALLY like the email picture thing.
I think the email picture thing is the only thing that TSMM is lacking for me...and for what the ride is, i think that is very important
oh yeah...and I also like how TSMM moves for you and stops you in front of targets
I still like BLAB, but it seems incredibly flat compared to TSMM. TSMM has a much more frenetic pace & is more engaging than Buzz.
TSM by a long shot
Didn't you start almost this exact same thread yesterday...?
I haven't ridden either, so I must withhold my opinion until I've done so.
Buzz, once the ride stop, you can keep shooting and get more points, but on TSMM, once the ride stops, you can't earn any more points. There are a lot more targets in TSMM though.
If I had to pick, BLAB, since there is actually something there to see and I don't need to wear glasses to kinda sorta see a semi 3D effect that really doesn't look much different then a standard projection screen.
TSMM is you have more fun while BLAB is kind of easy
Definately TSMM. I've always had issues with Buzz because you can never clearly see if your gun is pointing in the correct direction. It's just a mess of everyone's little green lights on the wall. My hand has always gotten tired from pressing the trigger and holding the gun up. Also, on Buzz you have to turn yourself. TSMM turns the cars for you and adds some thrill by jerking you a bit.
That is what so good about it. It is the luck of the draw. You have to be at the right place at the right time, or just know what you are doing.`
I like TSMM more because it's in 3D- However, when it stops in the middle of a game because of a delay, you can't accumulate more points- they are always placed with a 0. The thing about Buzz Lightyear is that when you are stuck, you can get more points by shooting at the targets.
One thing I liked about TSMM is that the screen is the only area, and you are specifically shooting against the individual next to you. That makes it easy to tell what you hit and what your score is. In BLAB it is you against everyone else in the room, and sometimes it is really hard to tell who hit what. People comment about the higher scores on TSMM, I think of it as shooting fish in a barrel...
So that can either be an advantage, or a disadvantage depending on how well you shoot, and if you want to "hit something" or if you want an actual challenge. In TSMM even the "challenge targets" were easy hits because there really isn't a lot of real estate on that screen!
I can't believe I am going to say this BUT
If WDI was actually on the ball and really wanted to make it both interactive and challenging then they would not have parked you in front of one screen. They would have had three screens, or one long one, and had two cars move back and forth each "covering" two screens. Then randomly have the cars rotate to the other side in mid game to present you with different targets in a completely different game. The way it is currently designed it is game after game with no movement and little challenge.
Sorry... but again I feel they left off with a "good enough". If they REALLY wanted to make a "WOW" then you would have had a combination of AA and screen targets, really blowing BLAB out of the water.
At least in BLAB you can't get bonus points if the ride stops or goes slow...cheater!!!
