Cutting Ears off Mickey Hats... new fad or just wrong?

Why would this guy cut the ears off his Souvenier Mickey Ears Hat? Oh well, he didnt even get it embroidered. If he had I would have yelled out his name and then pretended I didnt know what was goin on while he looked for the guy who yelled his name... oh the humanity!

Im just kidding. I know this man is jewish. I like jews. When we first saw him and his family (a nice bunch) enjoying a meal at the Plaza Inn a friend of mine quickly (and almost seriously) asked "whyd he cut off his mickey ears"?, before he really realized what was going on. I thought it was funny and decided to share it with you open-minded, non-judgmental, accepting, fun-loving people.

I think somebody must have also cut off Michael Jackson's nose - or perhaps it just fell off.

For Bat's Day, you can trim the ears into a more bat-like look.

The question is though, was it a real kippa or did he actually take the ears off a Mickey hat to make a kippa with the mickey mouse logo on the front?

All the jewkids go to Adventure City in Buena Park on Sundays... I had never seen so many kippas on little boys in one place since I last drove past the local Temple Beth Shalom!

Heh, meanwhile, I saw the thread title and, expecting the thread to actually bet about cutting the ears off, I was going to post something snide like, "It's pronounced 'yarmulka'" Little did I know...

O_o That is.. so disgusting man!

But on the topic of Mickey ears, I don't have a problem with it, but, wouldn't you look a little silly without them?

<_<;;; *is still trying to get over that Jackson picture*
