For Daddyb... (and all his hard work)

Sorry about the metal criss-cross behind the letters, I also missed a couple minor spots on the letters and accidently blurred them. I'll fix it if you want me to but some of it was going to take a long time and be very tedious, but this gives people the general idea.

Consider this MiceChat's token of appreciation for all your hard work.

Fantastic as always - really like the flower shots.

Yeah, I just don't think that putting a gausian blur into each of those will ever work out quite right... What I meant (and you probably know this) was that I was wishing I had used a lower aperture on my camera so that the background wouldn't have been in focus. I was so focused on getting the "hidden" 50th Mickey into the arch of Small World's sign, that I wasn't thinking that all of that stuff would make the shot too busy.

I'll just take it again at some later date, maybe this week.

And thanks for the well wishes. I'm all better now. It was a weird viral thing that affected my inner ear and equilibrium. I'd be walking along and then kinda' just vear off to the right or the left off balance. Usually when I'm sick and the room is spinning, it spins in one direction the whole time I'm sick (usually clockwise, I've noticed). This time sometimes the room would spin left, sometime right, and sometimes vertically. I was pretty woozy and sick for several days. That's what I meant with my joke about the goat trick.

I enjoyed the flower shot of the HM urn/ flower pot/ vase with the purple plant infront. Great job! On my work desktop is the Tomorrowland Astro Orbiter.

THanks any chance of getting a DCA on our desktops?

I always enjoy the bronze statues in the begining. Where are they located in the park? I think they are so cute. The flower pictures are so beautiful. You do such a wonderful job.

Thanks for the kind words! I put some really nice shots and desktops from inside Disney's California Adventure Park in my update of August 8th.

It's still available on the main page of www.visionsfantastic.com Look for the August 8th update heading and it talks about my visiting DCA that week.

I'm sure I'll get back to DCA within the next few updates, too.

Thanks! Most of the bronze statues are in the hub ringing around Walt & Mickey's "Friends" statue. The bronze statue from this week's update is Prince Phillip & Briar Rose (aka Aurora, aka Sleeping Beauty) dancing from just inside Fantasyland right up against the back side of the castle (it's the centerpiece of a drinking fountain). I took several shots of that statue and you'll see various aspects and angles of it over the next few updates.

Great pictures! Keep the "typical" Castle shots coming as they do make great desktops!
