How Should Wall-E & His Bot-Stars B Included In the Pixar Play/New Disneyland Parades

I always wondered how they would include him and his bot-stars in either pixar play parade or Disneyland's new 2009 Main Street parade.

Should he have a float, just roll down between floats, should Eve ZAP the audience when startled... etc...

Share your ideas about Wall-E's insertion in the parades.

I think it would be awesome, if in a year or time they add a Wall-E float to the Play Parade. What music do you think they should use for it?

They could just tack that awesome animatronic "walkaround" Wall•e on at the end, after tailwaggers, with all of the folks that are cleaning up the parade route. (Not to make fun of Wall•e -- but it would be appropriate as his role in the film!)

Probably an upbeat remix of "Across The Universe"

oooOOOoo EVE could be like the technology they use for those remote control helocopters and her arms could be attached to the side(even though they in the film they hover by her body) the AA Wall-E could just roll around and the float could be the axiom?

That's exactly what I was thinking! Or perhaps pre-parade so it's clean for everyone else.

Do we know for sure that WALL*E is coming to the parks? I saw the video footage of him hangin' out in LA and I'm pretty eager to see him first-hand, especially after seeing the movie
I have a thing for sad-eyed little robots.

Sometime this year hopefully. Later rather than sooner probably.

Unfortunately, no one really knows if the audio animatronic, which was making appearances across the country, will really show up at the DLR.

The Annual Passholder newsletter said we should be on the lookout for a possible appearance by Wall-E in DCA. Unfortunately, the only things that have appeared are a photo opp in the Hollywood Studios Backlot, and a large inflatable Wall-E, between the AMC Theater and the Disneyland Hotel. Appearances of new characters have occurred months in advance (as in the case of Chicken Little) or at movie opening, which is usually the case. We are already past the opening of the movie opening. And I don't recall the last time that a new character missed it's premier in DL.

Consider also, all other technically advanced "Creatures", such as Lucky the Dinosaur, the Animatronic Meeko (which made a VERY brief appearances in Redwood Creek Challenge Trail), and the Segway type vehicle with Dr Bunsen Honeydew and Beaker, each made VERY LIMITED APPEARANCES in DCA, before moving on to some other Disney Limited Appearance. Unfortunately, that doesn't bode well, for DLR fans to get a good chance to see the "real" Wall-E in person.

The best thing you can do is email/write Disney, and ask them. Keep checking MiceChat for Wall-E appearances (someone on these boards filled us in on short notice that Wall-E was appearing at a particular location, prior to the movie opening) IF and/or when such an appearance is announced by Disney, be preparred for a very short advance notice, AND they quite often say in such announcements, that they cannot guarantee appearances. They are just setting expectations, in case of techinal issues would prevent an appearance.

I am very disappointed with how DL has handled promoting Wall-E. They should definitely be welcoming promoting their newest family member much more than currently are. Two weeks ago they did have a VERY limited selection of Wall-E merchandise (which I thought was over priced for even DL standards) And this past weekend, I didn't see ANY Wall-E's and only one package with one Eve Toy, No other Wall-E or Eve toy/plush. They were VERY unpreparred for the rush on Wall-E merchandise. Oh, there was one Reyn Spooner Wall-E shirt for around $78, in Tommorowland.
