    Disney-Nintendo's Virtualand

Okay, so i've been working on a project on and off for the last two years (I have no life . It is about the third gate which will be located on the orange grove in which many are speculating it to be.

With the opening of the new TSMM, interactivity seems to be a direction imagineers are taking. So what would happen if two legendary companies that are the top in their industries, Disney & Nintendo, collaborated together? Disney-Nintendo's Virtualand, that's what. Please don't take this too seriously, I just thought i'd share these with you. Here are some my ideas:

    Park Layout
The park will have a circular layout with a main street like entrance, named Nintendo Square U.S.A. The lands clockwise from this are: Mushroom Kingdom, Hoenn Region, Traverse Town, Hyrule, and right in the middle of the circle is the Galaxy.

Don't leave yet! There's more to come as I explain each land and its attractions! ...

Okay, so now I will go indepth with each land and all of it's attractions, starting with Nintendo Square U.S.A.

    Nintendo Square U.S.A.
This land will have a really business district feel. Skyscrapers line the sky along with many shopping and dining options. A very large building to the left is home to the Nintendo Headquarters of America, which houses these two attractions:

Innoventions: Interactive - Tour the Nintendo gaming labs as you test their newest creations. Take part in daily videogame tournaments or just explore the game floor. This is something i'm sure many teens will enjoy.

The Subspace Emissary - This is a multisensory 3D show. It is based off the story mode in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. The story is simply: a battle with all your favorite Nintendo characters against Nintendo villains that have the help of a mysterious new foe.

I'm getting kind of tired now. Tomorrow i'll post the Mushroom Kingdom and possibly some artwork if I can find it.

    ....

Why would Disney waste their time/money on something like this. I didn't notice one reference to Disney. Only Nintendo.

I smell alot wrong with this park, mainly due to the fact that it appeals to only a small group. So the who knows how the bias Xbox or PS fans would treat the park.

Yes, I too had this idea of NintendoLand some time ago. There was similar lands like Hyrule and a Mushroom Kingdom, as well as a Poke'mon area. My also had a space themed land and Donkey Kong Country. There was a Mario Kart ride, and A mine cart ride in Donkey Kong Country, and a 3-D show for Poke'Mon that was set in Prof. Oaks lab and he would show the audience what poke'mon are, showing there capabilties and powers. The space land had a Metroid ride where you boarded a galactic federation transport, and accidently get involoved with the battle in Zebes and Samus Aran would help you avoid enemies and bosses, and help you escape the exploding planet in the end. The Space land also had a Star Fox Simulator ride where you would join fox and his team and you could actually control the arwing and shot enemies down.

Yeah, I was thinking about this too, but Nintendo, Sony, and MS wouldn't work together, so Nintendo seemed like the best fit.

What if Nintendo opens it's own theme park called Nintendoland which will feature hundreds of Nintendo characters like Mario, Kirby, Link, Donkey Kong, Wario...etc.

I don't see how Disney would be involved with this.

    What a great idea!
Is it something that Disney would ever be involved with? No probably not, nor should they be.
But if there can be Legoland, then there definitely should be Nintendoland. As someone who has always dreamed of being able to participate in a real life game of Mario Party, this appeals enormously to me. Keep up the good work!

Just an observation, the park has a Disney Connection. Traverse Town is an area in the Kingdom Hearts series of games.

I have also thought about a Nintendoland concept. Nintendo characters like Mario, Link and Mega Man are classic in the video game world, and now of course they have Sega characters too, like Sonic, who was practically designed to be a looping roller coaster - I picture a Sonic figure at the front of each train, and the rest of the train is made to look like his trail of flames.

Since more than one person is thinking of this, perhaps the concept does have a future .

I think that's sort of like saying, who knows how Looney Tunes fans will treat a park with Disney characters ? . Nintendo has the (relatively) long history behind them. However, perhaps Xbox and PS could be persuaded to join in a Video Game Land.
