Which Annual Pass do you have?

My annual pass is about to expire and I am not sure if I should upgrade or downgrade my annual pass.

I currently have a deluxe pass, my question for you is:

    What pass do you own?

What are the perks of having that type of pass?

How often do you go with you pass?

What pass do you recommend getting?

I have a Deluxe too. While a Premium would be awesome, a Deluxe is fine.

What pass do you own? premium

What are the perks of having that type of pass? discounts and free parking, no block out days.

How often do you go with you pass? about once a month...sometimes less often.

What pass do you recommend getting? That's a difficult question. Only you would know what pass would be best for you.

I have the premium also and go about twice a month but like SCUBAbe says only you can really decide what is best for you.

What pass do you own? Socal (215 days)

What are the perks of having that type of pass? 10% of food

How often do you go with you pass? Weekly when its not blocked.

What pass do you recommend getting? At the moment (during my block out for the summer) I'd say stay with the one you have "deluxe" but other than summer times the one I have has been great!

What are the perks of having that type of pass? I get to go to the parks

How often do you go with your pass? as much as possible (1 or 2 times a wwek)

What pass do you recommend getting? I would just say Premium so you don't have to deal with paying for parking.

    One Disneyland-only ticket per visit.

    No blackout dates.

How often do you go with you pass?
Depends on how close I live. Sometimes as often as once every couple months; depends on how much money I'm making and whether any opportunities for free entry arise.

What pass do you recommend getting?
Depends hugely on circumstances. I'm a full-time student, so it's not practical for me to buy an AP--I can only go on weekends, all of which are blacked-out for the cheaper APs, and the more expensive APs are simply too pricey. For someone who can go on weekdays...well, I personally would go with the cheapest one, but that's just me.

Hope this non-AP-holder's opinion's are helpful!

I have a Premium and go at least twice a month.

The Deluxe with parking is only $60 less than the Premium. For the extra $60, you have no blackout days, 15% off food and 10% off merchandise.

    Which pass? Premium

    Benefits? Discounts, No blackout dates

How often? 3-4 times a year for 3-4 days at a time

Recommend: Premium. I live in northern California, so I can't just decide one morning I feel like going to Disneyland. The premium means that I can stay further away from the parks for less money than right on Harbor and not worry about paying for parking, plus I can visit with friends and not have to worry about they're choosing to go during blackout days. (This was an issue when I had the deluxe).

Re: Which Annual Pass to you have?

As a family we have 3 delux and 1 premium pass.

The discounts are nice perks, and being able to go almost anytime we want to.

We go about 3-4 times a year, though we have gone as many as 6 times in a year.

Recommendation: It depends on your personal need and frequency of visits.

Re: Which Annual Pass to you have?

I have to buy an AP for the first time in 3 years this year and I'll be buying a premium. I live in AZ and go about once every 3 months or so. I just do the simple math. If I go twice for 4 days I've paid for a premium AP. Everything after that is saving money. Plus the 10% on Merchandise, 15% on Food and $11 a day on parking really adds up and if I'm going to pay that much for a pass I want to go whenever I have the time. So my recommendation is if you go more than 8 days a year.... get the premium.

I raise my Kitties right.... they only watch the finest shows.

I currently have a deluxe pass, my question for you is:

    1. What pass do you own?

    2. What are the perks of having that type of pass?

    3. How often do you go with you pass?

    4. What pass do you recommend getting?
    1. I don't.
    2. By not buying a pass, I don't feel the necessity of having to go as often as possible to screw Disney Corp in order to get my money's worth.
    3. I cannot answer this question. However, I go about once a year. Off-season. With a patron cast member whom I love as a brother.
    4. Ooh, so many possibilities:
    a) PAP, you get to go all the time. If that is what you want to do, crowded or not, then go for it. Nice discounts, not sure of the details.
    b) DAP, you get to go less, but only the expected busiest possible days at DL. If you don't like insane crowds, but are ok with moderate-to-bustling crowds, this might be for you. Discounts, but you know about them.
    c) SoCal, you get to go even lesser, but they are usually the moderate-to-bustling crowds. Exception: you are not blocked out on two of the busiest days of the year: the last unblocked SoCal day before summer, and the first unblocked SoCal day after summer.
    d) SoCal Select, go only during off-season weekdays. That still beats SFMM's seasonal passes, since SFMM is not open weekdays in the off-season. Lowest possible crowds, and these periods are when long-time maintenance projects are scheduled.
    5. Not to buy one. Yes, this is a choice! Go cold turkey for as long as you can stand it. Then, plan out your next 365 days to see when you would like to go (and not go), versus the various block-out schedule, found online. THEN buy accordingly. Now, I'm not saying that you won't be jonesing on Cold-Turkey-Day-1. Nor is it such a bad addiction, depending on how much more you spend there versus your own revenue stream.
