    Looking for Disneyland buddies

I apologize in advance if this kind of thread is not allowed, being as I am new here I am not fully aware of the rules.

Anyway, I have just recently gotten back into the Disneyland scene after a several year hiatus. Previously I had a pass every year for seven until 2003, but sort of had a falling out due to my family's disillusionment with the way things were being run.

So I have a pass, and a few family members and friends do also, and they are great and all but do not attend Disneyland as much as I would like. So does anyone want to befriend me? =] Pweeeeaaasse.

EDIT: And yes, my avatar is me on Heimlich's Chuu Chuu Train.. It's just so bad that it's good.

    First off welcome to Micechat!

You know that we have weekly meets every Sunday at noon at the hub? All you have to do is show up. Noon sharp and we stay for a half hour before going off to lunch and ride on attractions.

No need to arrange anything ahead of time -- just show up. If I'm there I'll be happy to introduce you to the others.

This might be moved to the Meets and Events Scheduling forum, but at any rate take a look over there: a lot of people post about when they'll be at the parks and suggest meetups. This might be worthwhile if you're wanting to get together on a weekday, wanting small get-togethers instad of a big one, etc

You can start a thread in the Meets & Events section with the day/dates you plan to go and anyone that can join you will.

I'm at the parks often, but I've usually got my kid in tow, so we're not as much fun to hang with.

You kidding LB? You are more fun with the kid.

Welcome to MiceChat. Come to a meet and figure out who you'd like to meet outside of the meet. No need to go blindly when there is a gathering every Sunday.

    Have fun!

As a fellow I.E.er.. I just wanted to say "welcome to Micechat!"

Hmm.. there are meets that you can go to.. I'm sure that you'll hear a lot about those.. I've still yet to go to one..

And I guess there are always fellow MC'ers available to meet up if you just give advance notice..

    Have fun!

I go like at least 5 to 6 times a month. I have Tuesdays and Sundays off of work so I go a lot on those days. I sometimes go by myself just to relax when my girlfriend works on Tuesdays. I also go with a couple of my buddies.

It sounds like it's time for you to take the plung and go to a Sunday meet!

The fact that you like Heimlich's Chew Chew Train gives you a couple points.

I'm always there, if not working, then I'm playing. Always looking for new friends, since people don't like to go as much as I do usually.

    Welcome to the site!!!

As others have said, just show up at the Hub at noon, don't be shy, everybody had their first meet at one time or another. We were SO nervous at our first meet we didn't talk to very many people. But we don't bite ... hard.

Feel honored Telpeurion, when I joined no one told me about the meets. In fact, I only found out about them last week.

I go to the park at a minimum every other Tuesday.

Aye, I'm in the I.E. and I'm at the park at least 5 times a week.

Of course, I'm normally on the clock, but still....some of those days, while my wife is working, it probably wouldn't hurt to bring a change of clothes and play in the park when I get off around 11:15 or noon.

I'll haunt the Meet forum and keep an eye out for everyone.
