So....I have the dole powder mix and an ice cream maker....but I can't seem to get the pineapple whip at home the right consistency! Mine comes out more like a sorbet. The ones in disneyland seem creamy and smooth (how do they get it creamy without any dairy!!??).
I read that running the mix through a blender instead of hand mixing with a wire wisk might do the trick.
I'm thinking maybe a little milk might cream it up.
Maybe I need a commercial soft serve machine to get the right consistency? Maybe the at home ice cream maker isn't up to par to get the job done right.
Anyone have any other ideas/secrets or experiences with getting an at-home dole whip just right?
