A sketch drawing that I made a few days ago. It's Duffy as Japan's proud bear!^^ His face appears alongside the flag of the Rising Sun and his name written in katakana.

That evening we headed to the Magic Kingdom, our plan was to see the Main Street Electrical Parade

We stopped to get corn dogs

We just had time to see the Hall of Presidents, we've been to WDW every year since 2005 and this was the first time we saw it!





Then we got a great spot for the parade

Duffy's Teddy Olympics medal arrived today from the UK!

WOO-HOO!

Time to celebrate with some waffles! NOM!


Yeah he's going to be showing off that medal like crazy this weekend at WDW!

The next day we headed for Hollywood Studios, we wanted to check out the new Star Tours! Duffy wanted to commemorate his first ride





However he was too short



Luckily the CM took pity and said he could ride in my lap

We then stopped for refreshments



But decided to sit outside and enjoy it

He wanted a Gonzo but I prefer Beaker





One of our friends wanted a Kermie hat, I had to tell Duffy he could try it on but it's not for keeps

So, along with the Mickey & Friends diapers that my Duffy is wearing, I also bought him some Winnie the Pooh diapers for him to wear.

So for my next photo post I thought it would be nice to go back to the begining when I first met Duffy.
I had met Duffy in his previous incarnation as "The Disney Bear" and I didnt much care for him. My
mother and I had planned a trip one year in advanced for Disneyland in October 2010 to see family and
celerbrate Halloween.

This trip had another event to celerbrate as it would be the first time I would meet my penpal Eric who I
had been in contact with for over a year. I would send Eric care boxes full of food then he
would in return send me back messages in bottles from whatever country he was in. I even sent
him a little monkey that he would take pictures of in all the fun places that he traveled too. I told
him that since I could not be with him in his travels that this monkey will take my place and keep him company.

As the closer that the trip got I was scanning the disney sites and saw that Duffy was coming. I wondered
to myself "who is this cute little bear"? I read Duffy's story about how Minnie made him for Mickey for his
travels and how they took pictures everywhere they traveled. I thought it was erie how similiar Duffy and
my stories were. I would be at Disneyland when he was being introduced so I figured that I would visit him
and see if he was as cute in person as he was on the internet.

When I arrived at Disneyland it was love at first sight for me and of these cute fuzzy guys in my life




Duffy came out to meet me



Duffy stole my bear and my heart





So as you can imagine Duffy now was my own little traveler




We travel on planes and cars





And pick out ridiculous items together




Duffy stole my heart and my peanuts on that October in 2010.
And he is one guy that I don't mind keeping them




And as for Eric, well I will let you know that I keep both of these world travelers by my side these days

Becx, I can't wait for the Teddy Olympics, too! We'll have so much fun! Except...Please don't totally dominate everything with your awesomeness? I want one, too!

Here it is.


I always love that expression, placing his paws in his mouth and if he sees something it makes him happy.


Here he is all relaxed as a baby Mousekateer.
