And here he is wearing a pair of Oswald the Lucky Rabbit ear hat, but unlike the ear hats that is being currently offered at Disneyland, these were made to promote Epic Mickey 2 during E3. It is easily recognized by the patch.
Great photos guys and I love the stories of Duffy and his pals!
Here are some photos of a trip we took way back in August! We spent a weekend in Nottingham and took Duffy along too!
It took just over an hour to get there, Duffy was very excited about the mini road trip!
Who is that good looking bear?
Oh no, looks like he found my chocolate stash! Guess I'll have to share it!
It's a news van! Duffy wondered where it may be going to!
Duffy spotted a sign, 'Are we nearly there yet?'
What a pretty view!
Ohhh, we can see a sign to Nottingham, not far now!
This was Duffy's first time meeting the family (my father in law) and it looks like he is a bad influence! I told him that Duffy does not like beer, he's a peanut butter fan!
We took a walk into the city, on the way Duffy spotted a bear on a sign! He was quite excited and wanted to go an play. I had to tell him that the bear was not there as it was a weekend! So I took a photo of him instead!
A close up of the bear
The first stop was Disney Store, Duffy liked these bears as they were Scottish too!
He's also a big fan of Agent P
As we were walking around a CM spotted Duffy and said hello! He was telling us about all the parks he'd been to and about how much he loved Tokyo Disney Sea! It was great to meet someone who knew who Duffy was and to share the love!
It was a hot day so we got a refreshing drink to share
We then spotted ice cream but were still full, maybe later! But I had to take a photo of Mickey Hood!
The next stop was the Brew Dog bar (my husband loves their beer), so we got comfy and enjoyed the variety of brews they offer (well my husband did, I had wine!)
Here is Duffy reading about the brewing process! I told him it didn't taste like peanut butter so he wouldn't like it!
They have one called Tokyo - bottom right - but it's like 14% by volume so certainly not suitable for bears!
I told him we wouldn't like it but he didn't listen and tried it anyway! He didn't like it!
After a few more drinks we headed to Jamie's Italian (a restaurant chain by Jamie Oliver), I ordered the meat and cheese platter to start - it was so yummy!
Duffy helped me finish that and then I had canelloni for my entree. We were stuffed after that and caught the bus back to the house. Duffy wanted a picture of himself in their garden - he seems to like flowers! (as well as peanut butter!)
(it was dark but the lights in the garden were very bright!)
Unfortunately we had to head home the next day, but I promised Duffy we'd visit again and next time take him to Sherwood Forest! To see the old oak tree!

Reason: Photos not showing properly!
That day we also picked up the Blu Ray of 101 Dalmations! With the pre-order if you paid slightly more you also got a re-usable shopper, a Dalmation plush and a £5 off next purchase in store or online!
Duffy wanted to meet his new pal!
I was so glad they made friends and got along together!
Then I realised Duffy just wanted the bag to himself!
When I saw the Merida costumes (despite not YET have a Shellie May) I had to get one!
I wanted to check it would fit so I asked Duffy if he wouldn't mind trying it on! He did reluctantly, but cheered up a bit when I told him Merida was also Scottish and she was an awesome archer! I also think he liked having long hair to wave about
This is his 'best side' apparently!
I love how the volume of Merida's hair is represneted in the wig!
Well with those out the way (I'd been meaning to post them in August!) I can make a start on our trip to NYC and Canada
Ok, I tried taking the easy way out and got no response, so gonna do it this way...
So.... We went to WDW on Sunday.
First, we stopped at Epcot and of course our first attraction was.... Captain EO!
The cast members were totally freaking at his costume. They loved it. Even some guests waiting for the next show started to take notice and were pointing and whispering.
After that, we did a quick stop at Club Cool for some Smart Watermelon soda from China (YUM!) and then headed into World Showcase for awhile. The Food & Wine Festival is in full swing, so we checked out some of the booths.
Quick stop in Canada...
Then over to the UK
Fancy a cup of tea?
Duffy was asking me why the phone box wasn't blue. We're both big fans of Doctor Who. They really should build a TARDIS in one of the corners of the UK pavilion. That would be awesome (especially since they just started selling Doctor Who shirts there too).
Of course we had to stop in Japan
Duffy made some friends with the Chococats
Check out the pick a pearl thing
Jamming to some Japanese music
I can haz??
The coutry of... Florida?!
Country of CHEESE!
We got the artsian cheese sampler and it was GOOD
Taking a quick cookie break (caramel appple oatmeal cookie from Germany) while I charge my phone
Another visit to Captain EO
Once again, we changed the world!
Bye Epcot! See you soon!
Stay tuned for part 2.... Magic Kingdom and Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween party!
We made it over to the Magic Kingdom... and now we had Shellie May in tow!
Shellie dressed as Merida from "Brave" for Halloween, so we had to go see her!
Merida absolutely LOVED that Shellie was dressed like her and called Shellie a "wee bear", which caused Shellie to giggle uncontrollably!
We took a ride on the Peoplemover...
The bears were so excited they jumped out of their bag and started waving at everyone as we went by!
Got our wristband for the Halloween party...
Obligatory castle shot!
While I recharged my phone, the bears started plotting our course of action for the night...
After hitting a couple of the candy stations, we stopped at the dance party in Tomorrowland.
Then the teacups...Duffy loves to help me spin. They were a walk-on, so we did them twice. Wheee!
We hit some more candy stations, rode Space Mountain (wait time was posted as 10 minutes but it was more like 5, if that).... then we discovered New Fantasyland was open for dress rehearsal! We had dinner at Gaston's Tavern and got the pork shank, which was really good. Some BBQ sauce would have made it even better!
Gaston really DOES use antlers in all of his decorating! Duffy immediately went on Twitter to warn his friend Buckster Bear (a little bear with antlers) about Gaston!
We rode the Little Mermaid ride twice, then went to visit Ariel in her grotto. She was very chatty and just stinking adorable!
From there we went over to Haunted Mansion and hit some more candy stations before going to Main Street so we could watch Mickey's Boo To You parade!
We're not much for parades usually, but this one is quite fun... and the song will get stuck in your head for DAYS!
By the time the parade was done, it was 11pm. The park was open until midnight, so we had some time to get some last-minute candy stops in and some rides. We went on Pirates and saw the new mermaids effect, which was better than we were expecting. Then we went on Big Thunder as we hadn't been on since it re-opened from refurbishment and I realized the bears didn't have their Big Thunder credit yet. They now have 5 coaster credits! Wanted to go on Barnstormer, but the wait was too long, so we'll catch it another time.We hit the final candytrail just before the park closed! It was after midnight by the time we finally reached the exit.
One last photo by the train station, then we went to wait for the ferry boat to take us back to the TTC/parking lot.
We finally got home around 2:30am and we were POOPED, but it was an awesome day.We had SO many cast members and guests going totally nuts over Duffy's Captain EO costume. Some at first thought it was Elvis, but then they looked again and were all.. "OMG! Captain EO! Where did you get that?" Of course everyone flipped when I told them it was hand made (by my aunt).I just knew that costume was going to be a hit when I thought of the idea a year ago.
