I forgot about this picture I took with Duffy all ready for some Hockey!
^ Love it!
I want to share some Duffy photos:
So we have seen Duffy at Disneyland Paris wearing his scarecrow outfit and boy was it so adorable. But I kind of wished they made an actual outfit for the 17 inch bears. So I took the liberty to sketch my version of the scarecrow outfit and here it is:
You can see the strands of hay on the hat, the shirt sleeves and the hem and near the pant legs. And since it's already fall/autumn, I added an apple on the top of the hat, because I typically associate them with the season and giving it the New England vibe.
What do you guys think?
So once we had boarded the ship we had a quick lunch and wandered around until our room was ready! We then headed to the Spa where they do a raffle drawing to win a treatment, my name was the first one called and I got a free massage! I had to book it for a day we were in port but that was ok because we had a late docking time in Halifax. Then it was the muster drill (you don't have to wear the life vests any more which is nice.
After that we skipped the sail away party as we wanted to see the views from 'Secret deck 7' - not really a secret but not many people know it it there!
Here is a shot of us pulling out from the dock
Duffy found a comfy spot to sit
We were docked to the left of this - earlier in the year you could see the Space Shuttle but they've enclosed it now.
I know Duffy is not in this one but I liked the shot
The New World Trade Center
Statue of Liberty
The last sight we saw before dinner was this bridge - sorry can't remember the name!
I think Duffy had taken a nap at this point, but I'd rather he get a good rest than be grumpy because he was tired!
That's the Verrazano (Narrows) Bridge. It connects Brooklyn to Staten Island.
Duffy snuck into this one...he was eyeing my kid's beef filet :P
Uh yeah...so I updated what Duffy was thinking...
Looks like Jack Skellington did a "photo-bomb" in that picture and one other too!
Time to share some Duffy photos:
As a Duffeteer Tender and Artist, it's my job to spread the Duffylove through photos and art. And speaking of that, as I am an artist, I have designed numerous pieces of artwork related to the Duffy universe (original artwork, costume concepts, etc.)
And so I present my latest piece for the thread.
My concept designs for Duffy and ShellieMay's 2013 Halloween costumes.
We have seen their past Halloween costumes in different themes (pumpkin, ghost, cat, witches and vampires, and oddly enough, ladybugs), but I have decided to use a different theme, and it's spiders. You can see it on their hats (for Duffy's a top hat and for ShellieMay's a pointed hat with a blended design of a wizard/witch) and attached on the cape. Also I gave their outfits a darker color to match the theme.
I kind of wish OLC would utilize this theme and hope we can see the results.
What do you guys think?
