What a majestic photo series, Naelyan!^^ Eugene (Flynn) and Cinderella are perhaps the most accurately cast face characters I've ever seen!

Also, I had no idea Snow's prince is named Frederick; is that in the credits? Did you know the Queen's name is Grimhilde? I don't know why they don't use it anymore… I think it's as immediately impressive as "Maleficent." I wish BAB would make her costume!

Flynn was hysterical! Since we were last in line, he followed us down the line and would stand behind my husband while he was taking pictures. He would look at the camera and make faces like he was impressed with what was going on. And like I said, everytime I would go up to the next couple, he'd be right behind me saying, "Don't trust the bear, she bites!"
And as for Prince Frederick, it is not in the credits. It a little known Disney trivia. He is usually just referred to as "The Prince".
I actually have a Maleficent costume for Shellie May from BaB! It would be nice to have the Evil Queen's costume. Didn't know her name was Grimhilde! I have a Halloween picture of me dressed as Snow White with the Evil Queen. She asked me how I escaped from the dungeon!

These are the stories that remind a jaded heart why, despite the management, there's nothing else quite like Disney magic! I wonder if the executives and accountants just need more mandatory park time stipulated into their contracts?

One of my favorite things about being at the parks is the character meet n' greets because of interactions like this. I also had a wonderful chat with Gaston, who I am officially in love with now!
I agree, the big guns at Disney need to spend more time in the parks and less time in an office!

I noticed when I went to WDW in January (19-27) that there were virtually NO characters walking around like they were in November 2003. You had to find them on a map and go wait in line in a building. I think during the warm months that's wise (no overheating in the costumes) + it provides a nice backdrop in a building. However, part of the fun was wondering who my sister and I would come upon next and get an impromptu picture with. I went to all 4 Disney parks (sometimes for as long as 15 hours LOL). Had to make the most of those magic hours

I love interacting with the furryhead characters, but I'm the total opposite with the face characters. I NEVER know what to say to them and it just feels awkward. With the furryheads, I can have entire "conversations" with them no problem. It's like I'm talking to a big stuffed animal. I think the only face character I haven't had that awkwardness was Belle because I just ask if she's read any good books. THEN it gets awkward when she asks me the last book I read... which is usually something by Stephen King or a book about vampires or something (I love horror novels but hate horror movies... go fig).

Besides Tigger "proposing" to me last month at Epcot (which still makes me think, "WTF just happened?") was years ago at Epcot, I was the only one at the Pooh character meet & greet - it was Pooh, Tigger & Eeyore. The Beatles cover band was playing and the 4 of us had our own little dance party for a few minutes. It was awesome.

hehe furryheads are awesome. I took a trip in the horseless carriage with chip and dale a few years ago; from sleeping beauty castle to mainstreet, I got off and asked the group I was with "which gate are we going out of?" the flirty chip and dale grabbed my arms (linked arms now) and we started skipping to the train station LOL! then when we were leaving Dale wouldn't let me go and Chip had to tell him to leave me alone. he even took a flower from the pot to give to me. ROTLF.

but yah face characters... I only posed with Captain Jack once at the El Capitan theater and it was.... weeeeird. I was trying to to be a fan girl (at 25 ROTLF)

It's hard not to fangirl around Jack Sparrow. Then again, I have a thing for guys in eyeliner (it's growing up watching those new wave/new romantic bands in the early 80s).

Duffy and I went to Build a Dino yesterday located in Downtown Disney (Florida). There was an entire display of outfits on sale, two for $15. Just thought I would share that with all. Can never have enough clothes right?

All but the red shirt outfit (and the St. Patrick's one) came from the 2 for $15 rack. Just a sampling of what they had there.

I think my bears have more clothes than I do! I like that Build A Dino in T-Rex at WDW's Downtown Disney, but it bugs me there's dinosaurs on everything. It's a little overkill if you think about it. I did find some awesome plaid shorts for Duffy there a couple years ago.

Build a Bear (or Dino, too, I imagine) is addicting! I swear I keep finding new stuff on their website and I've only had Duffy since 1/26, Shellie May since 2/5!

I didn't know there was a merchandise thread. XD Should have posted this here.

But yes almost all the clothes had some sort of dino reference on them. I didn't get a jacket because of the wording (something about dino and sports?). But there was a lot of other accessories that were more jungle and vacation that didn't scream dino.

We'll be visiting the London store again in April so I will check out the Duffy bits! We're also going to one of the nwely imagined stores on Saturday so I wonder if they have Duffy more prominantly? I'll be taking Shellie May for her first outing too!
