So cute, gurgi!!
So cute, gurgi!!
Oh, my, goodness, Naelyan. I want to have that cookie sundae in front of me right now!
Where did you get the small clothes?
Puppet Duffy is nudie at the moment.
That cookie sundae looks SO delicious...yum!
Speaking of treats, ShellieMay thought everyone was much better behaved for the afternoon, so she pulled out a bag of candy. Boy, was Duff-a-Lump excited!
Look at him, he's just beside himself. I'm not sure he realizes what human sized candy will do to a little bear...
"I'll have the blue one, thank you!" 3..2..1...
Uh oh! Who's that blur running around like a wild bear? I told you what sugar does to little bears. ShellieMay is so over this...she told me we are DEFINITELY going shopping after this! She sure has earned it today.
To cute. It's fun taking the bears with you where ever you go. :) it also helps to make a work day go by faster. :)
I wanna see shopping photos! This has to be one of the cutest photo stories yet!
Speaking of photo stories, let me mention again that I would REALLY appreciate folks not posting comments in the Traveling Duffy II story thread, so that the story flows smoothly.
Whoops! I don't know how I did that. I deleted my post. Problem solved.
 We can DELETE posts?? HOW?!
Today Duffy and Shellie May went on their first public outing.
I took them to the Nashville public library (Edmondson Pike branch).
Everyone there loved them, the librarians and the patrons alike.
Duffy and Shellie May were dressed as Peter Pan and Tinkerbell and checked out the DVD.
"That DVD will be due in a week," said the librarian.
"Okay," said the bears.
I'm teaching them to take extra good care of things that aren't theirs.
Then they found a rainbow!
When I brought them home they were excited to see TWO DVDs in the case. It was a bonus.
"Oh, wow," they said. "There are books about Peter Pan, too? Will you read them to us?"
"Absolutely. I'm sure we can get through some of them. The books are good for three weeks!"
Duffy gently put the Peter Pan DVD in the player.
"Don't stand so close, bears. You're going to ruin your eyes."
Then Duffy dressed up as Captain Hook and Shellie May was his pirate wench.
"Hey, I'm NOBODY'S wench," said Shellie May, who is an independent little bear.
"No, you're not," said Duffy. "You can be my pirate girl helper."
"That's better," Shellie May said.
Then Duffy shaved off his mustache and Shellie May gave him a kiss on the cheek.

These three websites sell clothes for the 8" bears.
I accidentally purchased some small fry clothes online from Build a Bear but those are way TOO small so when I go to Chicago in a month, I'll get another pawsport stamp and return them.
JillT, I :love::love::love: your bears' outing. And I especially loved the pirate wench/girl helper and mustache shaving parts. When I read the captions, I immediately pictured Shellie May giving Duffy an Agent Gibbs-styled head slap before informing him that she was nobody's wench, and I couldn't help but imagine Captain Duffy Hook shaving his mustache with his hook.
I love all these photos! I actually have a request, if that is okay. Anyone have photos of their Duffy/Shellie wearing Build-A-Bear fair isle sweaters/matching accessories? I love the way their older/OOS fair isle sweaters look and I think they'd look even better on Duffy. 8)
