Next month, my Duffy will be getting his scooter from a friend in the UK who is coming to visit. I'm going to paint it another color since it's pink & cream, then will take some videos of Duffy riding around on it (it's a remote control scooter).
I just surprised my wife with two Duffys for Easter.
Happy Easter everyone! I've been so busy lately I haven't had a chance to take many pics of what the bears are up to, but beacause we had a long weekend I took the oppertunity to take a few!
Firstly we did some baking! The bears wrote up the recipe and ingredients list, we were making cupcakes! Duffy chose to top his with peanut butter and Shellie wanted a butterscotch icing!
Then we got all the ingredients out
Carefully weigh out the ingredients
Shellie was getting a bit annoyed with Duffy as she was doing all the hard work (stiring) while he was messing around!
So she told him just to watch and she would finish up!
Shellie's cupcakes were to go in the red polka dot cases while Duffy had the pirate cupcake cases
They were both super proud of their cupcakes! (although they needed a little help with the icing!)
Duffy thought is would be a good idea if he marked his peanut butter cupcakes with a Duffy chocolate
And of course Shellie had to have hers marked too! She secretly told me she would have been upset if that Duffy would have tried to eat hers too!
I :love::love::love: everyone's photos! JillT, the jeep is too cute. As soon as I saw Duffy in it, I immediately imagined "Low Rider" playing in the background as his theme music.
Gurgi, I almost died from a cuteness overload. So did Alice--er, I mean--Shellie May ever figure out why a raven is like a writing desk, and did she ever get her cup of tea to celebrate her unbirthday? Was Mad Hatter Duffy able to fix the two days slow watch? I believe it was full of wheels and was in desperate need of some salt, butter, tea, two (2) spoons, jam, and lemon--but no mustard! Don't let's be silly!:p
Eeee-va, that bunny cake looks delicious!
Today I organised an egg hunt for them! I gave them a bucket and some friends that would help them find the eggs hidden around the house (it's been so cold recently - and wet - that a hunt outside would have been no fun, and the bears would have got their feet wet!)
Here they are waiting to start
Shellie took the lead
The first was in my sock draw, Owl made enough noise to help them find it!
Rabbit had the second one in the bathroom
The next one was on Shellie's rocking chair, Duffy decided he needed a quick break!
They had to work as a team for this one on the bookcase
Shellie helped Duffy up
They pounced on poor Eeyore in the wardrobe
Piglet found a great spot in the kitchen but Shellie used her wit (and a spatula) to get to it
They thought that was all of them but then Duffy wondered if there might be a chocolate egg with the normal eggs! He was right
Duffy with his reward for finding the eggs
Shellie got a purple egg filled with mini eggs
A team shot with all their Easter suprises
Becx, those cupcakes are BEAUTIFUL! And what a fun egg hunt!
(And yes, JillT, your Duffy in his jeep is ridiculously adorable. Is he going to take smaller Duffies and Shellie Mays around once he gets his license? :) )
Naelyan - thanks for sharing your Spring Voyage goodies - they look so nice in person (or is it bearson!)
JillT - I love your pics too, my Duffy likes to wear his Lightening McQueen slippers too! How cute it that bear sized car!
Gurgi I love your Alice in Wonderland story, the outfits are awesome! Although those glasses make a Queen of Hearts a bit less scary!
Eeee-va, watch out, it looks like those bears may be after the cake! We have to make sure anything yummy is well out of their reach!
And these two (2) Easter egg hunt photos are simply way too adorable:
I'm really loving all the Easter pictures. You're all awesome. :)
