I got this collage app thing on my iPhone, so decided to have some fun with some of my Duffy photos:
Cute! cute cute!!!!!!
I want to share some Duffy photos:
As aimster did a fantastic job of making a photographic collage of her Duffy in his many adventures, I decided to make one myself. I downloaded an app on my iPhone and went to work to make a collage of my own. Here he is being held and cuddled by some of his friends and family.
Poor Muffy! We're new and having trouble getting the photo bucket app to cooperate. Muffy is Tenchikiss' best friend
I really like the collages! Aimster, MikkiMausu, you both have such good senses of symmetry. I really love the photo of Mickey with Big Duffy...and then Big Duffy with Mickey!
Today Duffy and Shellie May tried Chicago deep dish pizza.
They dressed up for the special occasion because to them this is fine dining.
Shellie May wore her Parisian gown.
Shellie May wanted to try the spinach and garlic pizza because it is a healthier choice.
Duffy wanted supreme. “Shellie May, it’s pizza, not exactly a healthy meal no matter HOW you look at it.”
They spun the hand and Duffy won, so then he got the honor of putting it in the oven.
He showed Shellie May how to make a root beer float. “Come on, Shellie May, live a little.”
She admitted it DID look good.
It’s amazing how difficult it is to find ice cream flavored with REAL vanilla. Nothing but the best for my bears.
Jumbo Duffy and Jumbo Shellie smelled something good and came out to join them.
Jumbo Duffy was concentrating intently on cutting the pizza evenly.
Jumbo Shellie was peering at the pizza closely.
Shellie May said, “wow, look at that froth on the float!”
Jumbo Duffy and Jumbo Shellie are watching their weight so while they enjoyed the pizza, they opted for the no calorie UNsweetened tea.
Everyone liked the pizza and I still have 10 left so I have a feeling they’ll be begging for more.

OMGosh! That pizza party is just too much! I  it!!
Once again, I see the joy of tending many bears. Lots makes it!^^
The Duffster has the same outfit that your Duffy has. Did you remove the neck tie? I opted for the Chuck Taylors versus the plain black shoes...for the pizzazz factor.
Hmmm...maybe it isn't the same then. It looks like it. (I know, blurry photo. The vest does have pin stripes.)
My Duffy has that same shirt, ILG. Mine didn't come with the chain thing though. I like that. I need to find a long brown coat so Duffy can dress up as the 10th Doctor (he can already do 11 with his fez and Sweet Duffy outfit from last year).
And does anyone else find the shoelaces on the BAB shoes to be too long? I end up tucking them into the shoes once they're tied.
Aimster, the chain is a bracelet. It was the perfect length to wrap one end around a belt loop and stuff the other into the pocket.
Today the bears went on their first hiking excursion.
All 54 of the state parks in TN are free.
First, they looked around the Loveless Café, a famous family motel/café which is known for their biscuits and southern cooking, with the motel rooms turned into country shops. They wanted to see what was being smoked but it was too early in the morning for bar-b-cue. They had a biscuit picnic in a field of wild clover. Duffy likes to be like Winnie-the-Pooh and have his biscuits with butter and honey. Shellie May likes fruit and had one with strawberry and one with apricot, and then when she got hungry later, I fed her one with currant jam (little potent purple grapes). They have the best biscuits in the city. This is on the outskirts of Nashville , though, so it doesn’t really feel like the city.
Then we went to Mousetail Landing State Park. They both looked at the giant checkers set and Duffy played a few games of pegs, but they were really ready to get some fresh air since it was 70ºF today.
Duffy used his binoculars. “Oh, whew,” he said. “It’s just a stuffed bobcat. Nice kitty. Come on, Shellie May, it’s safe.”
“Okay, if you say so, Duffy,” replied Shellie May.
Luckily, the only wildlife on the trail was a wild turkey. Shellie May pointed out a trillium on the 3 mile loop trail (5 km). Duffy wanted to explore a hollowed out tree.
Next was Nathan Bedford Forrest State Park . Shellie May was pointing to the sign. “Why does Forrest have an extra ‘r’?”she asked. She learned to read really well and is puzzled.
“I don’t know. They just spell it that way here.”
She wanted to sharpie the extra ‘r’ out but I explained that would be against the law.
Duffy picked up some sweet gum pricklies. He didn’t like them because it was hard to get the spines out of his paw.
We walked along Kentucky Lake.
“Hey, isn’t Kentucky a state? But we’re in Tennessee. Why isn’t it called Tennessee Lake ?” asked Duffy.
“I don’t know. They just named it that way here.”
These are some very observant bears! Nothing gets past them!
Afterwards, we went to the Tennessee River Folklife Center and the rangers flipped over the bears. They presented Duffy and Shellie May with their very own passport so they can get it stamped each time they visit a state park.
It was a long day for them. They’re plum tuckered out and upon arriving back home, crawled straight into bed!
