Shellie May found the perfect use for the bag that comes with the travel set:
I brought home Ivey Cake concoctions for Duffy and Shellie May. Shellie May had a vanilla cupcake with vanilla cream cheese frosting and edible pearls and Duffy enjoyed a vanilla cupcake with chocolate frosting. Of course, they had to swipe their paws into each other’s frosting and lick them, just to make sure they weren’t missing out on what the other one had! Shellie May has cupcake pants that are really comfortable for lounging around. Duffy wore his space age pants. Meanwhile, I enjoyed my lemon blueberry cupcake with lemon cream cheese frosting. I did NOT let them swipe their paws across THAT!Attachment 30311Attachment 30312Attachment 30313Attachment 30314Attachment 30315Attachment 30316Attachment 30317Attachment 30318
Cupcake pants! Where did you get those? I'm am all about Cupcakes!:D
Oh...my...GOSH! Where did you get those cupcake pants?? I WANT THEM! I love cupcakes. I have a baby shirt with cupcakes on it that I altered for Duffette, but those pants are freaking adorable.
Also, the bear sized table and chairs are too cute!
The table and chairs are made by Kidkraft. You can find them at Amazon and Meijer and maybe other places. I'm not sure everywhere that carries them but they're by the same company that made the little armoires I posted a few months ago. Very sturdy stuff and not super expensive.
Those cupcakes pants are too much to handle!
It is raining today so the bears all stayed in and read.
Shellie May is wearing her Hello Kitty dress and using my Hello Kitty kindle light, and Duffy is now plowing through the Wizard of Oz series of books along with Bearami although it’s a little tough coordinating when to turn the page. Luckily, they have similar reading speeds. They like those better than the J. R. R. Tolkien writings because they have pictures and are easier to get through. I couldn’t get through J. R. R. Tolkien as an adult either, probably because I’m spoiled by the movies. I am pleasantly surprised at how much I’m enjoying the Oz mythology, though, since I never read those books before, but only saw the original 1937 movie. Next up, “Return to Oz” DVD from the library and then “Oz, the Great And Powerful” DVD. I’m sure we’ll be done with the series of books by then.
Jumbo Duffy and Jumbo Shellie picked out some crocheted bookworms and are reading Disney bear stories.
Yup, they all look pretty comfortable on the bed; I will get some housework done while they’re occupied as I haven’t heard a peep from them for awhile!
Uh-oh, looks like I need to start the house cleaning with my nightstand drawer. They made a mess when selecting the bookworms.
I notice a lot of people on this forum like Hello Kitty so as an FYI, Shellie May’s dress came from Doll Clothes by Avola on Etsy and was very reasonably priced.

The bookworms came from Bright Ideas and Groovy Worm shops, also on Etsy (actually, that’s the reason I joined Etsy a month ago).

JillT-I love the Hello Kitty dress! Your bears have such unique outfits!
Yesterday we went to Star Wars Weekends! And we met up with aimster and her crew! Very exciting!
Here were our outfits for the day!
We met Queen Amidala, Chip and Dale as Ewoks (photo edited to keep mommy out), and Roxy the Rancor!
Is Shellie May supposed to be Princess Leia? Cute.
I love the Star Wars outfits!!
I still need to upload my Star Wars Weekends photos from Friday. Haven't had time. And I gotta get ready to go back to Busch Gardens today as I need to get more photos for my next Orlando Parkhopper article for here on MC.
