Bearami welcomed Tropicolor Teddy to the household.
"You probably won't be showered with a wardrobe of clothes and accessories like Duffy and Shellie May, although those bows sure look pretty on you, but you will still have a nice relaxing life with an occasional adventure."
I love your pictures! ShellieMay's outfit is precious!
Thank you. It's an outfit from someone I know on Etsy that I've become friends with. I will tell her you liked it, too. She has a great eye for detail and made Duffy's pajamas on the previous forum page, and also Shellie May's flowery outfit ensemble on the previous forum page.
Just a sketch drawing of Duffy that I did. Also added his autograph to make this drawing unique. And going off-topic, Disney Junior, a preschooler's programing block/channel, recently did their "Field Trip" segment, and this was focusing on Duffy. Thought this would be interesting to share.
I recently added Lo♥ey to the household (Rainbow Hugs bear who loves everybody, as evidenced by all the Swiss kisses she was giving my other bears (my, that took awhile, as I have a general bear collection in addition to BABW and Disney bears)).
Today Tropicolor Teddy and Lo♥ey raided the closet where Shellie May’s clothes are. Their logic is: “hey, we are Build a Bears so most of these clothes were really made for us anyway.” They like white, blue denim, and solid pastel colors so as not to dress TOO flashy considering their multi-colored fur. Shellie May came in. “Hey, whatcha doing in there,” she asked, with a smile that never wavered (as after all, Shellie May brings joy). I think she was just curious because while she and Duffy have a small non-gender specific section for their clothes, for the most part there is no competition involved since Jumbo Shellie and Sweet Sister wear a different size.
“Just looking,” Tropicolor Teddy and Lo♥ey replied in unison.
“Well, then why are you wearing white shorts if you are just looking? Ha ha, busted!”
Shellie May is a sweet tempered bear and said it is okay as long as SHE doesn’t want to wear that piece on the same day. She is really good with sharing her bows so why would her clothes be any different? I think she was just surprised to see her new siblings rummaging through her stuff.
“Hmmm, that is a really sparkly, pretty halter top you have on, Tropicolor Teddy. I never saw that before! And where did you get your Nashville t-shirt, Lo♥ey?”
“I got them something of their own so they don’t always have to wear your hand me downs. Since you are going to share your clothes, if you ask nicely, they might let you wear theirs.”
“I will!” said Lo♥ey immediately.
“Me, too,” replied Tropicolor Teddy.
Hugs and kisses were shared all around.
Meanwhile, Duffy and Bearami high-tailed it out of there to play some video games. The last thing they want to be involved in is a fashion war!
