Duffy and Shellie May are ready to celebrate their first Halloween.
They each picked out a scary movie. “I don’t see what’s so scary about a movie named ‘Candyman’ so I will pick that one. I’m not sure I want to be scared,” said Shellie May. It’s an old movie from 20 years ago but it creeped me out. Duffy picked “28 days Later”. If he is still awake after that, he can watch “28 weeks Later”, the sequel. Since it’s not a work night or a school night for the bears, they can stay up as late as they want.
Duffy wasn't impressed with his skull "mask" so he decided to wear it as a baseball cap instead so he can see.
Jumbo Duffy and Jumbo Shellie are participating so they can protect Duffy and Shellie May if they get too frightened.
“Okay, bears, do you want fresh popcorn or Crunch ‘n’ Munch?” I asked them.
“Mmm, can’t go wrong with sweet AND salty,” said Duffy, licking his paws and smacking his lips in anticipation. I made him go wash up!
“Okay, so which flavor of Crunch ‘n’ Munch do you want?”
“Dump both boxes in the bowl. There’s four of us; we’ll eat it,” chimed in Jumbo Duffy. Well, that’s certainly true.
So with one arm around the littler bears and one paw in the popcorn bowl, they are all set for some frights!
Thank you both! However I was a bit surprised because 3 times I was called Bo Peep (once by a store clerk while trying to make a sheep joke but then it ended up just being awkward when I said I was Alice...) and one person thought I was Dorothy :\
I get Dorothy, but your hair would be in braids if that were the case.
Did you make the outfit?
Well, and if she was Little Bo Peep she'd have a cane, and probably be carrying a plush stuffed animal sheep, right?
Either way, the dress I can see those comparisons, but her hair and bow would have given it away that hellOH, she's Alice, plus I would be thinking of Alice in Wonderland more than I would of Little Bo Peep ha ha. And yeah, Dorothy wears braids.
