    Re: Share your Duffy Photos

I have another set of Duffy/ShellieMay photos to share:

Presenting sketches of the Oriental Land Company's Duffy and ShellieMay baby outfits.

    (Duffy's baby outfit)

    (Duffy's baby t-shirt)

Since he is a boy, I used Sky Blue as the primary color for his shirt. The stripes on either ends of the sleeve and the hem of his shirt are colored blue. Slightly resembles his signature sailor's uniform.

    (Duffy's baby bib)

His baby bib has his Mickey Paws in the front and above it is his name in cursive script.

    (Duffy's baby bottle)

Colored Sky blue to match his baby t-shirt.

    (Duffy's diaper)

On the front of his diaper is the glass bottle containing Minnie's handwriten message to Mickey. On the back of his diaper is the familiar Mickey Mark (his is on the left) also colored Sky blue.

And here is Duffy in his outfit:

(All of these concept drawings are made in honor of our wonderfull Duffeteer, DuffyDaisuki).

    This is for you Daisuki-San!^^

    So what do you think?

MikkiMausu, you know I really don't see Duffy as a baby myself and I don't really like that characterization personally. But your drawings are great, as always. Elegant lines and clean color choices. I the T-shirt, and I love how the baby bottle resembles a message bottle. If I was ever gonna support "Baby Duffy," it would look a lot like this.^^.

Animagique, welcome! "Duffy in snow angel" is an image that's been calling to me for years!^^ I've had three chances to shoot it, though, and didn't. Thank you for sharing such an awesome photo!

Yeah, it's a cute concept after all. While I was sketching the designs, I keep thinking of the two outfits that make Duffy look like a baby; the "Cape Cod Seasons" pajama outfit and the Halloween 2009 pumpkin outfit. For the "Cape Cod Seasons" pajamas, if you pretty much set aside the adorable bunny slippers, the sleeping cap, plush pillow, story book, and the vest, somehow the pajama kind of resemble footie pajamas made for an infant or toddler.

The 2009 Halloween pumpkin outfit, one particular piece was the pants, but the overall design somehow resembles a diaper.

So yeah, these were the two outfits that I always see them.

I have another set of Duffy/ShellieMay photos to share:

    Presenting ShellieMay's baby outfit.

    (ShellieMay's baby t-shirt)

Since she is a girl and just like Duffy's t-shirt, I used pink as the primary color for her baby t-shirt. The stripes at either end of the sleeves and the hem of her shirt are colored purple.

    (ShellieMay's baby bib)

Her baby bib has her Mickey Paws on the front and above it is her name in cursive script. And just like Duffy's bottle necklace and ShellieMay's heart-shaped sea shell necklace, it has a button clasp so the bib can be worn around the neck.

    (ShellieMay's baby bottle)

Colored pink to match her baby t-shirt.

    (ShellieMay's bow)

Colored pink as the primary color and has a purple heart at the center of the bow and added a bit of brown near the heart.

    (ShellieMay's diaper)

On the front of her diaper is her heart-shaped cockle shell pendant that was given by Duffy. On the back of her diaper is the familiar Mickey Mark colored pink (hers is on the right).

And here is ShellieMay wearing her outfit:

^ Honestly, not my cuppa. I don't like the baby characterization. But to each their own.

I think our Duffys (Duffies?) are related. Mine acts exactly like that. Thank God I got Shellie to bring him down to earth for a while because I have no clue what he would do to my closet while my house is being shown for sale.

Animagique, those snow pictures are PERFECT! All we have out here is dirt and sand, and that is not easy to remove from fur, I'm afraid.

Mikkimausu, GIANT POCKY! I'm so hungry now.

Great St. Patrick's Day picture, Aimster!

Here are the rest of the aforementioned Ren Faire pics.

It sure was a sunny day!

Small Duffy and I love Italian Ices! This one was peppermint, my usual.

Yes, I tolerated the bear germs. I'm a good Duffy Tender.

    Waiting for the joust.

Did I mention it was sunny?

Duffy can't juggle sticks, I don't think. Well, maybe yours can, but not mine.

So he rested comfortably in my basket.

The best thing I've had at Ren Faire in a couple years. BREAD PUDDING!

After a long day at Ren Faire, Small Duffy was ready for a rest.

    Good night, Ren Faire!

McDuffy received mail today. He was very excited because he's never gotten actual mail addressed personally to him before. He felt very lucky, indeed. Shellie May and all the little McDuffies insisted he sit down and read the card to them.

Happy St Patricks's Day to you all!

What Eeee-va said goes double for me - great snow pix, giant pocky! Aimster, your bears have the same taste in clothing as mine. And Eeee-va it looks like your Duffy had a fabulous Ren Fair day!

(Sue & Aimster: Love the McDuffy's with their adorable beards! The little Irish top hats are just precious!)

My little Duffy Bear is wishing everyone a Happy Saint Patrick's Day from the Grand Opening of the new Publix here in town!

I just had to take him to something special today. Last year I took him to Epcot. But he had just as much fun this year sampling all the free food and getting lots and lots of attention.

Duffy was really excited to me Plato the Publixarus. He didn't know grocery stores have really cool big characters like Disney.

My little guy learned the routine at Publix - first he gets his cookie at the bakery, then he let's mommy start the shopping.

Nope, he didn't go home with the balloon, but he did go home with a very full tummy from sampling lots and lots of food and treats!

Plato the Publixarus kind of has a Hidden Mickey. Adorable! Your Duffy looks like a bit of a party animal to me. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

Oh! Wow! I see the kinda Hidden Mickey!

Yes, you got his personality right! He's a funny little party guy. However, he's just 6 years old. So his idea of a party is lots of cupcakes, balloons, silly games and being entertained by Big Furry animal characters.
