BTW, our bears aren't too far apart right now -- I just arrived in Torrance yesterday. I really need to get a pic of my Mom's couch at some point as it's completely full between all our bears. My poor Dad just shakes his head in disbelief every time he walks in the living room.

It was kind of cute, but obnoxious at the same time. I still don't think anybody over there "gets" Duffy or is willing to treat him as a character not a piece of merchandise. It was just a little too over the top for me. My Duffys were not watching this, thankfully, they'll stick to reruns of Spongebob...

I agree the video is a bit much. I think Timmy is calmer then his parents. Someone needs to be in that family. lol

That video was hilarious for all the wrong reasons. I'm not really sure of the purpose of the video but it comes across to me as a spoof on the average WDW visitor. I have certainly seen people like Timmy's Parents roam the parks before. Although I think it was meant to actually display the activities Guests can enjoy at Epcot with a toddler in tow.

The video show just how poor Duffy sales are doing at Epcot since Timmy's Parents were able to go straight to the till without a queue. And seem to wait zero time to meet Duffy. If the intent was to push Duffy sales I feel its likely failed. But I got a good laugh out of it.

It's likley that part of the store and the meet and greet to meet Duffy was roped off to allow filming of the episode then the regular guests were allowed back there once they were done. Thats my guess though.
