I am also cautiously optimistic, but I'm going to wait and see. I doubt I'll like the outcomes, the designs haven't impressed me. Monty's response is very reminiscent of what CMs say for pretty much anything. Trying to come up with some excuse when the simple explanations are just dumb. That what it sounds to me at least. Disney loves making up some kind of excuse to cover up real reasons. But we'll see.
Cute! Yeah ･14,000 is too rich for my blood, but you know these things are going to sell like hotcakes for those who can afford it. I have to admit I like the TDS 10th Anniversary Duffy by Steiff better though.
I was at the Duffy store at Epcot last night and they already have the Valentine's Duffy. It's the same one from last year though. Also, there is a Duffy charm available as well. You will find him in stores that sell the charms/jewerly.
Apparently my post got eaten yesterday. When I was at WDW a couple weeks ago I was looking in the shops that sell charms because I sometimes like to get one to put on my keychain, and didn't see any Duffy ones. Boo. But it looks like the pin I already have.
I didn't know bout the duffy charm until about September. I guess they have had it since about august in Dca and dland. My friends bought it for me. I ended up making it into a necklace. Only wish he had the Mickey head in the back.
I attached the pic of the necklace.

This is the Tokyo Duffy charm/pendant. I use it on a phone strap. It's fully sculpted solid metal, gold plated and has a rhinestone Mickey mark on the left hip. He has the Mickeys etched into his feet, too. It also comes with a chain, all for ￥3500. How much is the US one?
Photo from Aya's Little Kingdom blog. Check it out! All her photos are fantastic!^^
Oh, I love the US charm (I'd imagined it way bigger :#/ ) and the Japanese one is very nice! I'm not big on jewelry (or cell phone charms that cost almost as much as my cell phone, LOL) but that is VERY cute!
