I am so upset, we took off the Canadian outfit tonight and it made my roommate's Duffy'sbottom half stained, yes it made his lower body stained with the black dye from the fabric :-( We purchase both our Duffy's in Tokyo so are even more special to us.
Wow...good to know. Now I will avoid the US outfits because of this. That should have been something they considered, but obviously didn't. I wonder if the German one would stain green...
Did the shorts just leave bits of black fluff all over Duffy or actually stain his fur? Either way, I'd be very disappointed. I'm sorry that happened to your Duffy. :( I kept mine in his German outfit for a few months and there was no staining. For how long was Duffy in his Canadian outfit?
No it literally stained his fur, and he probably had only been in it for a month.
You should complain. That is just not right.
:???: I guess guests are expected to pre-wash clothes for their teddy bear? Hopefully Disney will add a label to that effect. I know it's not fun, Travis, but could you post photos?Quote:

Im sorry about your Duffy. Thank you for posting about the Canadian costume. I wanted to get that one, just for the hat, but now I will skip it. Yeah I know its nuts to buy a costume for the hat, but its a cute had and I wanted to pair it with other clothing I already have. Plus DH is Canadian so Im sure Duffy will be going to Canada at some point.
I own the Canadian costume for Duffy but after hearing about the dye coming out I'm not to sure I really want to risk it on one of mine. I have ordered a new Duffy from WDW because I simply have more costumes than Duffy's right now, so may take the risk on him. I am sorry to read what has happened to your Duffy Travis. The problem is once you've grown attached to the Bear. Its not always that easy to go and just buy another one.
If you wash it, it should be okay, but I'd probably try and test it on something else just in case.Quote:
