    Re: Duffeteer Creators Club

I don't understand how some of you are having so much trouble using Photobucket. You just copy/paste the IMG code into your post here.

    Example:

    [IMG] http://i1245.photobucket.com/albums/...psa0667a4d.jpg [/IMG]

(minus the spaces between the IMG tags and the link)

Properly done, the photo shows up like this:

    Name: IMG_45071_zpsa0667a4d.jpg
Views: 96
Size: 245.4 KB

Does Photobucket store images indefinitely or do the links expire after some time?

    Re: Duffeteer Creators Club

Hey, no worries, DSM. We all took time to learn to post photos efficiently. Sometimes we forget that it wasn't second nature or that details are often only displayed natively in English, rather than Dutch, French or German. You'll get the hang of it!^^

Photosharing challenges are one of the most frequent and universal complaints new users have at MiceChat. You are not alone. And the good news is, even with nearly everyone feeling that initial frustration, almost everyone who participates regularly and really wants to share photos figures out a third-party photosharing site that works for them and gets so comfortable with it that we forget it was ever even totally confusing.

I prefer Google's Picasa, because it allows me to upload an infinite number of photos as long as their dimensions are 800x600 or less, which is more than enough for sharing on MiceChat. You just need to find a good third-party photosharing site that speaks your language and works for you. I don't know about Photobucket, though I'd guess it's multilingual, but I feel sure Picasa has all of the language options common across Google's products. It does mean, though, having all your Duffy hobby photos tied to your email address and Google+ profile, which some may want to avoid. Hope that helps, and please keep trying — I can't wait to really see your bag!^^

FANFLUFFINGTASTIC, DSM!!! Bravo! That is excellent work!

It looks a little pink and lacy for me, but I know a lot of fans would go crazy for this style. I'd love to see the "wearing" photo, too, please. I'm especially curious about the strap. And is it "hard" inside? Could it support bears that are actually quite heavy?

The details just make this thing! It looks so well finished! Look at that quilted seat-back!

I would like one covered with horizontal blue and white "marine" striped canvas on the facing seat, plain or red and natural khaki stripes on the back/outside. Instead of lace, I'd prefer russet red braided rope as piping, which I'd like along the front edge, too. And heavy natural white sailors' rope for the bear belts and human carrying strap. I think I'd like a chunky plastic blue or red — or blue with white stripes and red edging accent! — anchor attached to the center of the bear belts. I cannot get over how much I this design! It actually looks a lot like seating for an attraction! Very, very well done.

So…are you making these to order? Sharing the pattern? How do we all get one?

    Re: Duffeteer Creators Club

I keep being curious about something, DSM… Why do you always write "the" in all caps? If your iPad is doing it automatically, just hit the "x" in the corner when the word pops up. After a few times, it'll stop. For a native English speaker, or at least for me, that emphasis on "the" every time raises alarm and I find myself being distracted by it as I read your messages. I'm not complaining or anything, just thought you might actually want to know.

It's GREAT work, DSM, but remember Creators Club submissions need to be reproducible in order to earn the 20% rate. A major part of the goal is that the results are shareable. I really hope you develop this. I truly love it!
